So judging by the outfits you might've got the basic idea -maybe, but let me check in with my idea;

The Smith's are the wealthiest family in Ninjago. Ray Smith, the monarch of the family is secretly a mafia boss in the ninjago black market, where he earns his fortune (I am so sorry Ray TvT you're still the best dad!!). They have two heirs to the dirty fortunate, Kaizen (short for Kai in this AU. Which means: philosophy of continuous improvement; becoming one percent everyday, in Japanese meaning) ,the elder son and Nya (which means of Swahili origin, Nia means "purpose" and "tenacity," two essential traits for powerful little ladies who plan on making their mark on the world! Nya also spelled Nia, has Welsh and Irish roots, too, with the diminutive Niamh a popular choice on the Emerald Isle.) Smith, their younger daughter, both siblings have an age gap if 2 years.

Both aren't fully aware of what their family is actually built on but enjoys a spoilt and luxurious life given by their father. They never knew their mother, Ray had told the pair that their mother died when they were very young.

Nya has pretty much a petty girl but Kai, even though been pressured to be tough because he'll inherent millions when he turns 25, has a soft spot to others and his very kind and helpful. But he tends to hide that side of him in front of his family in fear of his father rejecting him.

Jay is the only son of the Walker family. His parents own a tech company collaboration with Brog industries. Jay is really into computers and a bit of geek comparing to other children of millionaires. But this story is not about him-

The walker and Smith families arranged a marriage between Jay and Nya, much to each other's discomfort.

This story is about Jay's right hand, Cole Bookstone. Cole is pledged to protecting the walker family and will do anything to shield his boss and best friend Jay.
