"Hurry up! You're gonna be late on your first day!" Jay's roommate Lloyd pulled over Jay's sheets, the brunette lazily opened his eyes and groaned,

"I had first days on campus"

"Well too bad for you because this is your life now" Lloyd grabbed his towel and toothbrush,

"I call dibs on the washroom!"

"No fair....!!" Jay whined, still pretty much half-asleep. With another groaned and a swear Jay sat upright. The rays of the morning sun shone from the window that Lloyd had slid back the curtains before, the light hit Jay's eyes as he dragged himself out and took his toothbrush and swung his towel over his shoulder and stood in front of the washroom.

Lloyd didn't take long and came out with a white shirt and green hoodie on (basically the movie outfits because I'm too lazy to scroll down printerst rn. No cap)

"Nice choice" Jay complimented, his voiced still a bit horse. Lloyd smiled and gave a part on Jay's back. "Thanks! Gotta make a good first impression"

"Of course " Jay rolled his eyes sarcastically. Lloyd was bacically a top student in middle school. They were pretty good friends before and were very happy when they got into the same college and even better- they were dorm mates!
The two came to campus a week before their classes started. So for the entire week Jay caught up on the sleep he missed because he was studying for the entrance exams.
Lloyd meanwhile went around campus and see how things were being operated and brought back takeout for the two to eat.
Jay wasn't much help to say the least...

"On the same note, please don't get too many extra credit projects and staying awake all night. If you do, please don't interrupt my sleeping schedule"

Lloyd turned and threw him a glare. Jay shrugged innocently.

"Whatever, it's only a matter of time before you beg me to do your assignments as well"

"Not true!" Jay went inside and slammed the door to prove his point.

"We'll see about that motor-mouth!" Lloyd yelled back. Jay decided to ignore him.

"I have chemistry first"

"Biology"

"I still can't believe that's what you chose for your major! None of your subjects match each other!"

"Do I look like I give a shit bean?"

"Hey!" Lloyd stumped his foot as his face went bright red. Jay chuckled and messed up Lloyd straw blond hair. Lloyd was still considerably shorter than the brunette, the height difference was in Jay's favour.

"Calm down Lloyd. See you back at lunch, text me where to meet if you want" Jay said with a wink as Lloyd hurried to fix up his hair that Jay had messed up.

"Yeah yeah I will, it's not like have any friends"

"Then what the fuck did you do for an entire week at campus?" Jay raised an eyebrow. He checked his phone, both still had some time before their first classes.

"Well, I did talk to a few people I also met walking around, there was girl who introduced herself as Harumi. Her friend was Nya and Nya's brother who's name was Kai...-"

Jay stopped listening to Lloyd as he heard the name Kai. Something about it made his cheeks feel like they were on fire and his legs go all wobbly.

"Jay! Are you even listening to me?!" Jay came back to the ground as Lloyd waved his palm close his eyes. He swatted it away and scrowled.

"So uhm... Appreciate if you can bring those 'friends'-" Lloyd immitated invincible air quotes, "over to lunch today. Make we both can have a friend group or something "
