"heck no I'm doing that!"

Jay shook his head at Kai. It was a cold autumn evening and the Lloyd, Zane and Nya had come back from a mission. But Jay was sitting on his bed, Kai standing in front of him, hands crossed with a smirk on his face.

"She just came back. Come on" Kai raised an eyebrow. Kai was growing tired and irritated from Jay's arrogant behavior this week.

It was raining the whole week and the ninja were called a lot for water related problems around the city. So Nya and Zane were frequently out and the others had nothing to occupy themselves in.

Cole asked Zane for his old cookbook and decided to recreate some of the master of ice's recipes -that mostly kept him occupied the whole day. The others were just glad that they don't throw up after it was Cole's night to cook.

Kai basically got Lloyd into action movies and comics whenever he was free, surprisingly pretty often since Nya and Zane didn't usual need backup. Lloyd was sceptical about it at first but loved it after Kai gave him some basics to start off, now he was addicted and sometimes trained listening to manga podcasts (lol, I can totally imagine Lloyd and Kai getting together and reading manga and comics and watching Mission Impossible or Fast and Furious hehehe)

Jay on the other hand was board as heck! He usually killed time lol playing videogames but since Zane or Cole seemed available since they were busy Jay just slacked off my just staring at the ceiling for hours a day or just reading some book in his room.

He wanted to go to the city but it was almost always raining and he didn't want to get drenched and catch a cold, not now.

Other times, he could just pick up a conversation with his yang, Nya. She'd always pick a topic and they'd exchange views and enjoy each other's company. But now, without her yelled at Kai to clean his room or occasionally training with Lloyd, the monastery seemed very empty...

I'm getting out of point here, back to the story at hand;

"Maybe Nya is tired. It was a bit of a flood wasn't it?"

"You can't keep putting it off Jay! I talked to her, even if she doesn't say it to anyone's face, she really misses you Jay"

"Maybe later-"

The sentence caught in Jay's throat as Kai glared at him with his hazel eyes flared. The master of lightning gulped down nervously at the red ninja's intense expression. Finally he gave in and let out a sigh,

"Fine Kai. I guess maybe I do want to bother her a bit, it's been awhile "

"That's what I thought " Kai smirked as he and Jay exited the blue ninja's room. They parted ways and Kai went to the training deck to see Lloyd and Jay headed to Nya's room.

He stood in front of the door and took a deep breath and hoped that she was not in a bad mood today. I knocked on the door and waited for an answer. After five minutes or so, without an answer, Jay twisted the handle and was surprised that Nya's room was unlocked.

He stepped in, the smell of ocean salt and mint even up is nose, just how Nya's smelled every morning when they embraced, it was already so comforting.

But the main lights were off up some sky blue fairy lights were still illuminated around her room, giving out a cozy feel. Her ninja gi was on her bed, all spread out. Nya's spear and in the respective rack and everything was organized. If not for her slightly messy desk filled with blue prints of mechs and throwing stars, her room looked untouched -which made Jay surprised that she wasn't relaxing like he initially thought Nya might, he's yang was still mysterious.

"Did you see Nya around here?" Jay leaned on the kitchen doorway and asked Cole. The master of Earth was fixated on the oven, probably baking something.
