Anniversary • PARK SUNGHOON

You and Sunghoon have been married for 8 years, 6 years ago you gave birth to your baby boy, who'd somehow decided to follow the path of ice skating. This meant many trips to the ice rink wether you liked or not. Today, you got ready to go on a date with Sunghoon as it was your guy's anniversary, though, it seemed like he'd forgotten.

"Let's go to the ice rink today!" Jihu, your son, exclaimed, gathering his ice skating things. Sunghoon was in the kitchen, he poked his head out as he had a smile plastered on his face

"I've got the car ready for us, get mommy and we'll leave right away" Sunghoon smiles, you furrow your eyes in confusion, what happened to the annual anniversary dinner dates? You enter the kitchen to see Sunghoon washing the dishes. As he finished, he quickly wiped his hands dry before noticing you

"Darling? You look nice, but if I remember we're just taking Jihu ice skating" Sunghoon comments teasingly, you give out a scoff as you felt him put his hands on your waist. He really did forget

"No reason, just thought I'd dress up today" you lie, averting your eyes away as you watched him tilt his head

"Alright then, If you say so" Sunghoon replies, he then gives you a kiss on the head before leaving to get Jihu, you stayed in the kitchen as you grabbed your purse and jacket. You wait for the father-son duo as you slipped into your jacket. Once you spotted them coming back, you displayed a smile on your face, though, it did hurt that Sunghoon had forgotten.

After making it to the ice arena, both Sunghoon and Jihu entered the rink, you'd follow them from behind after putting their things into a locker, making sure to keep the important things with you. You made sure to say hi to the receptionist at the front before entering the rink too, as you walked over to the duo you'd noticed that there was no one else in the area, you thought nothing much of it as it didn't peak your interest.

"Mommy!"

You avert your attention back to Jihu as you noticed his voice echoing within the arena

"Yes Hu?" You smile, Jihu gives a mischievous grin as he sat next to you, you tilt your head to the side as you watched him sit quietly. After a few more moments of silence you started to wonder where Sunghoon had gone, you looked back onto the rink to see nothing but ice, you look back at Jihu as he continued to stay quiet

"Hu where's daddy?" You question, Hu gives out a tiny giggle as he pointed at the rink once again

"Right there!" He grins, you look at his tiny pointer finger as you followed its direction, just then, the lights turn off, a single spotlight being the only source of light. You turn your eyes toward the rink yet again as you now saw Sunghoon standing in the middle of it, his outfit changed, his eyes connected to yours, and most important of all, the loving look he gave to you.

"Sunghoon?" You call out, the boy gave a charming smile as he held onto a microphone. He brought it up to his lips, opening his mouth as his signature vampire teeth start sticking out

"Y/N, did I convince you? I succeeded on making you think I forgot our anniversary right?" Sunghoon teases, you let out a laugh as you were now realizing what was happening, he purposely forgot. You put your hands up as you pretend to surrender yourself

"You did well Hoon" You joke, a smile on your face. Sunghoon gives a grin as he watched your smile, his favorite smile.

"Well as an apology, I hope you're happy with my gift" Sunghoon says into the mic, skating over to the side to set it down before going back to where he stood before. You tilt your head in confusion, a surprise? Jihu scoots closer to you, wrapping his arms around yours as he looks up at you

"Daddy loves you a lot Mommy" Jihu grins, you couldn't but to continue smiling. Just then, a song starts playing, you feel memories flood into your mind as you heard the first couple of musical notes playing, the song that was very special to you, the song that played the moment you fell in love with Sunghoon.

10 years ago--

You sat uncomfortably on your chair as you waited for your friend to come out and do her ice skating performance. You were unaware on when she would perform so you continued to look around the rink as you waited for the next performer to come out. You were sat at the front with no one beside you so there was nothing to keep you occupied. A couple more minutes pass before an announcement was made, your eyes perk up as you listened to the message

"Now let's present our next skater" the announcer says, you raise your eyebrows up as you were now looking through the many skaters crowding the rink entrance. You lean back on your chair as you spot a dark haired boy facing away from you, entering the rink. He wasn't your friend sadly. You tried following the boy's figure as you attempted to get a glimpse of his face, you failed sadly before noticing the lights dimming down. The boy finally turns his head towards you, his eyes resting upon yours as a song starts playing in the background. You felt butterflies in your stomach, he looked ethereal. He gave a cheeky smile as he noticed your sparkling eyes, you look away in embarrassment, hiding your face behind your hands.

He starts skating around the rink as he did multiple flips and graceful tricks, when he would pass you, he'd send a small smile along with a glance as he made eye contact. You continued to stare in awe as you watched him, was this what they called love at first sight? After his performance, your friend was announced as the last performer, she skated nicely before exiting the rink once again. You followed her to the backrooms as you didn't want to end up waiting hours for her to finally finish getting ready.

"I'll be changing in that room so just wait for like 10 more minutes" your friend, Kay, says, smiling nervously before entering her dressing room. You were now left alone as you plopped yourself on a chair, there was yet again no one in the halls so you had nothing to keep you occupied.

"Excuse me" you were interrupted from your deep thoughts as you heard a voice beside you, you looked to see the guy from earlier, the ethereal guy.

"Uh yes..? Did you need something?" You question, standing up as you were now standing in front of him. The boy shook his head no as he let out a small cough, he awkwardly smiled as he took out his phone

"I just wanted to ask for your number, if that was okay" he says, handing his phone to you, you were flabbergasted

"My number?" You repeat, the boy grinned as he nodded. You felt a blush creeping up your cheeks as you pinned in your number, you change the contact name to your name before handing the phone back to the boy

"Here you go" you say, taking out your phone as you saved his contact on yours. The boy smiled happily before putting his phone away, he looks back at you before doing a small wave

"I'll text you then?" He says, pointing a finger at you, you nodded in reply now changing his contact name. The boy then turns around and begins to leave, you realize you never caught his name so you quickly stop him

"Hey wait! Could you tell me your name?" You ask, the boy turns around as he gave a smirk. He tilts his head as he looked at you in admiration

"It's Park Sunghoon" he replies, his vampire teeth showing visibly as you once again felt a blush flash across your face

(Present time)

You smiled at Sunghoon as you watched him finish his performance, he gets off the ice as he makes his way towards you, taking off his skates swiftly.

"That was a great performance is I could say so myself Park" you say, standing up as you walked up to him. He smiled as he rested his hands on your hips

"Only the best for the love of my life" Sunghoon smiles, he bends down slightly as he gives you a kiss on the lips, you smile into the kiss as you wrap your arms around his neck, pulling him down as you pushed away your head from his to see his face. Sunghoon looks into your eyes lovingly as he allowed a smirk to rest upon his face

"Happy anniversary my princess" Sunghoon whispers, you bite your lips as you continued to look into his eyes

"Happy anniversary my prince" you reply
