Birthday Wishes • PARK JAY

It was your boyfriend's 21st birthday, meaning he could legally drink now. Jay was invited by his friends to celebrate his legal age of drinking by taking him out to drink, ironically. You were sad that he wanted to celebrate with his friends but you were happy to hear that he'd finally be doing what he'd wanting to do since he finished college, so like any other good girlfriend, you allowed him to go.

"I'll be home around 9:30, if you need anything just call me okay?" Jay says. You nodded in reply as you opened the front door of your guys shared apartment, Jay grabbed his jacket, giving you one last kiss before leaving.

"See ya love" you smile, waving the male good bye. You then lock the door behind him as you sighed deeply, the birthday boy was gone so there wasn't anything you could really celebrate.

"I guess I'll just take a nap" you whisper

You were woken up by a touch of a hand going around your waist, you figured it was Jay so you stayed quiet. After a couple a minutes a small voice was heard from behind you, and as you said, it was indeed Jay.

"Hi princess.....sorry for leaving you haha, when I got to the bar I realized how much I missed you already" Jay comments, his voice low as he cuddled closer to you

"I came back after telling my friends I wanted to celebrate with you, they said it was alright and said we could reschedule it, I should let you met them one day, I have this specific friend I think you'd get along with" Jay chuckles, snuggling his head into your neck, you stay still and quiet as you waited for what he'd say next, his voice continuing on with his explanation

"I'll surprise you tomorrow with your favorite breakfast as an apology" Jay says, his voice faltering as he leaned against you, you smile at his last statement, you slowly turn around as you were now faced with him, his eyes looking into yours softly.

"Its okay Jay, as long as you're here with me now" you grin. Jay looked at you lovingly as he pulled you into his chest

"It's not okay, but thank you for blessing me with your adorable smile" Jay says, you reply with a scoff, you decide to say nothing more as you wrapped your arms around Jay, you took a sniff of his signature scent as you whispered something

"Happy birthday Jay, I hope you got what you wished for" you whisper, dozing off as you clung onto the older boy. Jay tilted his head lower as he looked at your sleeping face, he bopped your nose as he smiled

"My wish was granted the moment you entered my life Y/N" he mutters, giving you a kiss on the head before falling asleep too
