You were considered as one of your school's most talented female students, on the other hand, Niki, a classmate who's quite like a stranger to you, was considered as one of your school's most talented male students. He specialized in dancing while you specialized in music producing. The 2 were similar so you guys have been put in the same class department for the past couple of years. Though you guys had been in the same class for so many years, you guys still have yet to speak with each other. Everyone assumed you guys would have a stranger to lovers story, but seeing how you 2 never made any contact with each other, they gave up on the rumor of you 2 ever dating.

Of course who knew what was going on behind the scenes.

Niki intertwined his pinky with yours under the table as he sat beside you, he was able to trick the teacher into making him your desk mate so it wouldn't spark any suspicion if he were to sit next to you himself.

For 2 years you guys were able to keep your relationship a secret, crazy right?

"Niki-san, are you coming with us?" Jake, one of Niki's older friends asks passing your table

"Yeah just hold on, I have to put this away first" Niki replies, holding onto a stack of books, Jake gives a nod before leaving with the rest of their friend group, making you and Niki the only ones left in the classroom. A deep sigh escapes Niki's mouth as he plopped his head on top of your lap, you smile sweetly at him as you played with his hair

"When can we tell them Y/N" Niki mumbles as he closed his eyes, you press your lips into a thin line, thinking about an answer before answering

"Why don't we let everyone know now? We've kept it a secret long enough, plus what's there to hide? I'm not embarrassed about this relationship" you say, a smile forming on your face as Niki glanced at you with sparkles in his eyes

"I'm not either" he smiles, he then lifts his head up, giving you a quick peck on the lips before putting his head back down on your lap, he chuckles at your reaction before closing his eyes yet again

"Uhm.."

Both yours and Niki's eyes widen as Niki pops up from your lap, you both look at the door to see Jake standing there with an awkward smile

"Congratulations...?"

Both you and Niki scrambled off your chairs as you both run toward Jake, Jake widens his eyes from your guys' sudden movements, unintentionally and somehow tripping as he fell.

"Jake you saw nothing okay? Nothing at all" Niki says, picking up the said boy by his shoulders and shaking him

"Niki chill" you say, making the boy stop his aggressive shaking. Jake looks between the 2 of you, his eyes still widened as he tried to process the information he had just walked in on

"Who would've thought you guys would actually get together" he remarks, clapping happily as he finally smiles

"Why haven't you guys made your relationship public yet? You guys' have been the dream couple ever since you both entered college" Jake says, going on his knees as he looked at both you and Niki with puppy eyes. You and Niki looked each other and laughed awkwardly

"We didn't think we'd end up dating either, but seeing how 2 years of the relationship had gone by already, I guess unexpected things can happen" Niki says, looking at you with a small smile

"Wait 2 years? YOU'VE BEEN DATING FOR 2 YEARS-" Jake's mouth was immediately covered by your hand as you mentally slapped the boy

"Shut up before we bury you alive" you threaten letting go as you pointed a finger at him, he nods slowly before taking in a deep gulp

"Well there's really nothing you can keep a secret now hehe....the rest of our friend group is outside the classroom Niki" Jake says, now pointing at the group of boys standing outside the room

"Jake shut up will ya!" A voice says

"Jake-hyung."

"I'm sorry! Please don't kill me!"

You looked at your phone as you banged your head on your desk. The news of yours and Niki's relationship had finally been revealed and is your school's number 1 gossip at the moment.

"Stop hitting your head" Niki scolds you, putting a hand on your forehead in attempt to stop you from hitting your head any further, you put your head to the side as you made eye contact with him, a pout forms on your face as you sighed

"People need to shut up and mind their own business, yes we're dating? You guys wanted it for so long so why is it so surprising??" You rant, recalling memories of how many people stopped you on your way to class to ask if you and Niki were really dating. Niki laughs at your pout as he pinches your cheek, he then puts his head down next to yours, his cheek against his desk as he looked at you

"Who cares about what they think, we're in a relationship because we like each other, not because of baseless rumors" Niki says, you sigh deeply as you nod your head in agreement

"Since when did the Nishimura Riki become so wise??" You say sarcastically, putting a hand on Niki's cheek as you put another hand on yours

"The day L/N Y/N became my girlfriend" Niki remarks, you roll your eyes as you yank your head up

"That was a rhetorical question!"
