You and Jake have been friends since childhood, the 2 of you always doing things together, for example, going to school, playing sports, learning instruments, singing together, competing, basically anything best friends would often do together.

As you guys slowly hit your teenage years, you guys were slowly getting into the knowledge of having "crushes" or somewhat, the awkward topic sometimes being brought up between you 2 but was never conversed about. You guys were now in your senior year of high school, a few weeks before graduation.

Jake had told you about someone he liked just recently and it really perked your interest, you pestered him about telling you who it was but he always kept his mouth shut. It's been about a year since he first told you, which was surprising to know he stayed loyal to a certain somebody for that long, you didn't seem to pay much attention to this topic for a while, but you've just recently began to become interested once again in this little crush of his.

"Y/N~"

Jake entered your classroom as he made his way towards you like any other day, his loud steps catching the attention of others as he stopped at your desk

"Hellor Jakey" you greet the male. Jake replies with nothing as he takes a seat in front of you, he faces his head away from you while laying his head on your desk. A deep sigh escapes his mouth as he begans to mumble something

"Hm?" you hum, not hearing what he had just said

"I said today's been hectic" Jake repeats, a pout forming on his face. You chuckle at his sudden change in attitude as you gave a shrug

"I can't deny that, it has been crazy since the exams are coming up in 3 weeks" you say, a thinking expression now forming on your face. Jake lifts his head at you as he furrowed his eyebrows, he snorts at your face before pulling himself up

"Why do you look constipated?" Jake comments. You let out a dramatic gasp as you slap the boy's arm

"Excuse me, I do not!" you exclaim, a frown flashing across your face. Jake continues to laugh at you as he holds his stomach. After a few seconds, the male finally decides to calm down letting your frown fade away

"Anyways, I was thinking on going to the cafeteria for lunch, theres ramen today!!" Jake says, a smile on his face as he thought of the delicious substance

"Ramen? really? you eat that every day at home?" you say, shaking your head at the boy's meal choices. Jake gets up from his seat as he puts his hand over his chest, he quickly lets out a short gasp while walking backwards closer to the classroom doors

"Hey! I'm still slim and tall, that's all that matters to me!" Jake replies, tapping his finger in the air as he tried to prove his point. You roll your eyes at him as you leaned back on your seat

"Yeah yeah whatever, just make sure to get me a drink and a bag of chips when you come back" you say to Jake, Jake gives a nod as he exits the classroom, making his way to the cafeteria

"I'm back!"

You averted your eyes away from your phone as you spot Jake coming back into the classroom with a bag in hand, he had taken off his school blazer as it was hung over his shoulder, you hated to admit this about a friend but you couldn't deny it. He looked hot.

"Why are you not wearing your blazer?" you asked the boy, Jake shrugs in response, sitting back in the spot he had left earlier

"I got hot trying to finish my ramen, I made it extra spicy today" Jake explains. You roll your eyes at his childish tactics

"Of course you did" you say. Jake then passes the bag to you, taking out the goodies from inside it before throwing the plastic bag away, he smiles at the way your eyes light up at the scene as you began eating away.
