After talking over some details regarding his 'business', Verone had come to the conclusion that Jessica would be a good fit for this position. She was well educated and came up with solutions to almost all of the problems he had concerning money. He was happy that Monica had introduced her. The trio was mid-conversation when there was a knock on the door."Come in," Verone said. The door opened and Enrique entered the room.
"They're back," Enrique said. Verone gathered the papers that were scattered on the table and put them back into the folder they belonged in. He stood up.
"Bring them in," Verone instructed. Enrique nodded and left the room. The two girls shared a look before doing the same. They hoped to walk through those doors and see Brian and Roman. Verone, Monica and Jessica made their way to the front yard, where the winning team was patiently waiting. Jessica smiled when she spotted Brian with a small yellow package in his hand, Roman standing at his side. Brian held up the package, showing that they had completed Verone's task. Brian walked over to Verone and handed him the package.
"Hey man, you got something to eat in there? We hungry," Roman said. Jessica's face hardened. Roman was not everyone's cup of tea and Jessica was worried about how his personality would mix with Verone. She really didn't want Roman to be the reason this doesn't work out.
"Sit them by the pool," Verone quietly said to Monica. He then turned around and walked away, package in hand. When Verone was out of ears reach, Jessica took a step closer to the two men.
"Good shit, guys," Jessica said quietly with a smile. "I'm not gonna lie, I doubted you for a minute there," She added. Brian raised an eyebrow at the girl.
"Impressed, are you?" Brian asked, a smug smirk on his face as he started walking towards Jessica.
"Maybe," Jessica replied playfully, smiling. She folded her arms across her chest.
"We should go. We don't want to keep Verone waiting," Monica stated. She turned around and began leading the trio to the backyard. She and Jessica began making casual conversation, trying to make their friendship seem more believable. Roman was already growing bored. He looked over at Brian. Roman followed his friend's gaze, raising an eyebrow when he realized that Brian was staring directly at Jessica's ass.
"Whatchu checkin' her out for?" Roman whisper-yelled to Brian. Brian tore his eyes away from Jessica's backside immediately and looked at his friend.
"I'm not checkin' her out, bro," Brian defended quietly, trying to play it off. He didn't want to admit that his friend was right, he was 100% checking out Jessica. The jean shorts she was wearing were hugging every curve in the best way possible.
