Twenty minutes to midnight, Brian and Roman arrived at the club named Pearl where they were due to meet Verone. They hadn't heard anything from Jessica since they left the race earlier. The duo made their way over to the large man standing in front of the door of the club, a clipboard in hand. Brian assumed he was the usher.

"Guests of Verone," Brian said. The man looked up from his clipboard and nodded at the two. He moved aside and let them enter. The club was dimly lit and packed with people. There was a hip-hop song blaring through the speakers.

"Damn, there's a lot of potential up in here man," Roman spoke as his eyes scanned the club. He smirked at what he was seeing. There was a plethora of beautiful women - most of them scantily clothed. It was like he was in Heaven. Brian smiled at his friend's words. Strangely enough, he didn't share the excitement that Roman was feeling. Any other day he would be happily checking out the girls in the club, wondering which one he would be taking home tonight. However, this time was different. Brian was only interested in searching the large crowd of women to find a particular brunette, the same one that had been occupying his mind a little bit too much lately. "There's your girl, bro," Roman teased when he noticed a familiar face walking their way. It was Jessica. When Brian spotted her, he felt his eyes widen. The dress she wore highlighted her figure. Her hair was curled and framed her face. She had never looked so good. Quite frankly, she was the most attractive person he had ever laid eyes on.

"Damn," Brian mumbled, not realizing he had spoken out loud. He swallowed hard as he watched Jessica make her way toward him and Roman. He stood up straighter, trying his best to act like she didn't take his breath away.

"Hey," Jessica said once she was close enough for them to hear. She smiled at the two. Jessica was used to being in either her work clothes or pajamas so it felt nice to have an excuse to dress up. It was giving her a whole new level of confidence.

"Hey," Brian said, finding it hard to tear his eyes away from the girl. Having her close to him was making it incredibly difficult to form a coherent thought. Never had a woman made him feel that way before.

"Look who decided to show up," Roman joked, gently nudging Jessica with his elbow. Jessica chuckled and playfully shook her head.

"Unlike you two, I actually have to try to look good. I don't get to just throw on an outfit and call it a day," Jessica said, gently pushing Roman.

"You look great," Brian blurted out, instantly feeling embarrassed that he said that out loud. He wasn't used to having a woman make him nervous. He normally had more game. Jessica was shocked at his compliment.
