i n t r o

Jessica Evans learned that being a cop meant doing whatever it takes to complete the mission, no matter how unhappy or broken it may leave you. You learn to live with the pain. You may even find a way to block it out for a little while. That's what Jessica tried to do.

Following in the footsteps of her mother, Jessica became a cop. As soon as she was eligible, she had enrolled in the police academy. Being a cop was the only thing she ever wanted to do. So, she worked her ass off and graduated at the top of her class. A unit in Boston, Massachusetts offered her a job straight out of the academy. Though she was hesitant to move away from the sunshine state, Jessica gladly accepted the offer and moved to Boston to begin her new life as a cop.

Jessica was a beat cop for only two years before advancing into the Narcotics unit. She spent six years with Narcotics until everything changed. A fellow member of the unit, her partner, was murdered while they were undercover. It blew the entire operation. Jessica couldn't stay in Boston any longer. Everywhere she looked, she saw his face.

When the Miami Police Department offered Jessica a chance to come back home and assist in the takedown of the man responsible for her partners death, Jessica had no choice but to accept. She would do anything it takes to put cuffs on the infamous drug lord, Carter Verone.

When her unit arrests Brian O'Conner, former police officer who had been on the run for almost a year, things change. They offer his freedom in exchange for his help taking down Verone. He accepts and Jessica is put in charge of making sure the handsome stranger doesn't fuck up.
