Jucinara's POV
"We see Sitter friends?" João asks as we walk down the stands to our seats.
"We are." I say as I focus on making sure João and Zoi don't trip down the stairs.
"Yay." The kids say as they look out at the track to try and find their babysitters.
The national team is in Austin, Texas ahead of our April 2023 friendlies against Ireland and England that are both taking place here in Austin.
We beat Ireland last Thursday and this Tuesday we play England.
Today, Saturday, is our off day so we came to the University of Texas track stadium to watch the Women's Open track competition, which is a track competition where the best female track athletes in the world show off their skills before their season starts.
"So what are their names again?" Sam Mewis asks as we reach our seats.
"Kiyana Hamilton, Yasmijn Wijnaldum, Isobel Washington, and Phoenix Remington." I say then I put the padded seats we bought down onto the metal stands.
"And what country do they represent?" Sofia Huerta asks as we sit down.
"Kiyana is Jamaican, Yasmijn is Dutch, and Isobel and Phoenix are American." Christen says. "But Isobel doesn't run anymore cause she got hurt after her senior year and she felt she hasn't been the same since so she coach's the other ladies."
"Why are they called the Four Lions Running Club?" Lynn Williams asks.
"They all had dyed blonde hair when they met here at UT and they got the nickname from some article after they swept 4 relay races in a row and it stuck." Christen says.
"And how did you meet them?" Ash asks.
"Well professionally we met them through Nike." Christen says.
"But they live in the house across the street from us." I say. "They make great babysitters and great friends."
"And nurses when we need them." Christen says as I see one of the Four Lions running over to us.
"FIFI." The kids shout when they see one of their sitters coming to us.
"Well if it isn't my favorite Munchkins." Phoenix Remington says with a smile.
Zoi and João giggle then they reach for Phoenix so Christen and I hand our kids to her.
"No offense, but how do you keep your boobs from hitting you in the face?" Mal Swanson randomly asks.
Phoenix was very blessed in the titty department.
I believe she's a 34D.
They do look nice.
"Very good sports bras." Phoenix says.
"Have you ran yet?" Astrid Heath ask.
A few people on the team know the Four Lions through sponsors and stuff.
"No my first race is in 15 minutes." Phoenix says.
Phoenix, like the rest of the Four Lions, runs the 100 meters, 200 meters, and 400 meters.
They also will probably run the relays if asked to by their nations.
"Which is first?" I ask.
"100, then 200 then 400." Phoenix says as she adjusts her hold on my babies.
"You haven't dyed your hair yet." Talia Martin says.
"This is a bit of a pre-season race so I haven't done it yet." Phoenix says as Zoi and João play with her long curly dark brown hair.
