Sarah's POV
"Everyone ready?" Sofia asks as we look at all the national team ladies in the team meeting room here in our Paris hotel.
We got to Paris yesterday and earlier today we had training.
Now we're going to the Women's Open tonight to watch the Four Lions race.
"We see Sitters run?" Zoi Press asks.
"We are munchkin." I say then Zoi excitedly claps.
"We're ready." Jucinara says.
"And the bus is here." Cairo says. "So let's go."
"Yay." The Press babies cheer then all of us leave the meeting room, leave the hotel, and get on the bus.
Once on the bus everyone sits down then we relax for the drive over to the Stade de France.
"So." Jucinara says as she peaks her head through the gap in the chairs in front of me. "Are the Lions good?"
It was evident to everyone except Yasmijn, Kiyana, and Phoenix that the Four Lions were going through a rough patch.
"Yeah they're all good." I say. "They talked it all out then had a cuddle date while we played England."
"Good." Jucinara says. "It's understandable why they were.........cranky though."
"Yeah." I say.
"Do you think they'll talk to a therapist?" Christen asks.
"No." I say. "They all still have the mindset of nobody knows what I've been through so how can they give me advice on the way I'm feeling."
"Well I can't fault them for thinking that way." Juice says.
"Luckily they finally realized they have girlfriends who would very much like to be their sounding board when they're feeling down" I say.
"Good." Juice says then the Press babies pull their Moms' attention back to them so I scroll through Threads on my phone.
"Ooh." I mumble when I come a cross a video of Phoenix being interviewed earlier today.
"Are you worried about running with Sha'Carri Richardson?" An interviewer asks.
"I'm sorry." Phoenix says. "Is Miss Richardson the reigning world champion in the 100, 200, and the 400?"
"Uh no."
"Then you're asking the wrong person." Phoenix says.
"Spicy Speedy." I mumble.
"WE'RE HERE." Someone from the front of the bus shouts so I put my phone in my little cross body bag
Once the bus stops, all of us stand up, get off, then we head inside the stadium and head up to our suite.
"Wow." Sam says as we all lookout at the track.
