Sarah's POV

"SARAH WE HAVE THE FOOD." Jucinara shouts as she walks into our team chill room here in our Lyon hotel.

We just played Spain in the Semi-final and we beat them 2-1.

"Nara you don't need to shout." Christen says as I turn around from my spot on the couch then I see half the team carrying in our food for the night.

For some reason US Soccer and the USOC didn't provide us a team chef, which we normally have, so we have to pretty much go out to eat each night or eat at whatever hotel we're at if they hotel even provides food.

Christen said she's never not had a team chef since she's been on the national team.

"Oopsie."

"Mommy Loud." Zoi says.

"Your Mommy is very loud." I say then Jucinara and Christen come and sit with their kids and I on the couch in the front row of the sea of couches.

Once Jucinara and Christen are sat down, they pass out the food they got for Zoi, João, and I.

I wanted food from the place the Press' went so we ordered together.

"Thanks." I say as I'm handed my food.

"No problem."

"So what's the schedule for tonight?" Julie asks.

"Well you missed the men's 400 semi's and the women's hammer throw final." I say.

"They just started the women's 400 meter hurdles semi's." Sophia says. "Then after that is the men's long jump finals the men's 1500 meter Final, the women's 3000 meter steeplechase final."

"And the final race of the night is the Women's 200." Sofia says.

"But that's in like an hour and half so we can watch something else." I say.

"We can just watch the Main NBC feed." Alex Morgan, the teams striker coach, says. "I still don't know how you got us an NBC feed to watch Cairo."

"I have many powerful friends." Cairo says with a smile then she focuses back on her young son.

"So what's on the NBC Feed?" Sam asks.

"Uh looks like they're showing the ending of the 10 meter platform diving competition." Alex says as I eat my food.

I'm eating some pasta dish from an Italian place near our hotel.

"Why is China always good at this event?" Rose asks.

"They train from the time they can walk basically." Cairo says. "They have national academies where you eat, sleep, and train all day every day."

"Oh."

"Cairo are they gonna make an age limit for the Figure skating stuff?" Trinity Rodman asks.

"They already raised the minimum age to 17." Cairo says. "But that's not gonna help the systematic abuse of those girls."

"Mhmm." Jucinara says then I continue eating my food while watching NBC's olympic coverage.

As I eat, I watch the end of the diving competition, and one of the Beach Volleyball quarter-final matches

"Is Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone running the hurdles?" Tobin asks as NBC cuts to the women's 3000 meter steeplechase final that's almost done

"Yeah." Sophia says.

"I think she only would have done the 400 flat if the Four Lions weren't here." Sofia says.

I think the only reason Sydney's doing the 400 hurdles as well as the regular 400 is because Phoenix is doing the 400.
