Marinette's POV
Two weeks later
_

I sit at my desk, scrolling through the news reports reporting on the Hawkmoth situation.

Hawkmoth Dead, revealed to be famous fashion designer, Gabriel Agreste

Watch Exclusive interview with the two young heroes who defeated Hawkmoth.

I sighed as I scrolled through all the headlines. Its only been two weeks since everything happened, yet those two week alone felt like a whole year.

News interview after news interview, having to explain everything to my family and friends, and the sudden fame I was experiencing.

At first, I never publicly announced the fact that I was Ladybug. On the night everything happened, I was de transformed, so my identity was kept secret.

But when rumors of me being Ladybug began spreading, I decided to reveal myself in one of the interviews I was on. I did it only to order to confirm all the rumors and call them off. It wasn't like there was any point of hiding anymore.

"I wish you could've told me, Marinette." Alya sighed from her end of the phone call. "I can't even imagine how alone you must've felt this whole time. I wish I could've been there for you."

Alya took the news better then I expected; she was one of the first people I told. She was shocked at first as expected, but still was very supportive of me and understood me. I was shocked when she didn't absolutely flip out—She ran the Ladyblog for goodness sake.

"Alya, don't say that!" I respond. "Even though you didn't know my identity, you were still always there for me."

"Thank you for everything, seriously, Ayla. I mean it."

"Awe, of course, Marinette. I'm happy to hear you say that." She replied. "I'll always try the best I can to be there for you."

"I'll always be there for you too." I spoke.

"Me too girl."

She paused for a second, before speaking again.

"Anyway, I gotta go. Something just came up, but I'll call you as soon as I get back, 'k?"

"Mhm" I hummed. "I'll talk to you then." I hang up after that.

I turned back to my computer, scrolling through the news again. That's when I came across one of the interviews that me and Adrien did together, which was from the week before. That was the last time I remember talking to him since being discharged from the hospital.

Even though we were in many interviews together, we were never able to sit down and talk on our own. I knew he was hurting right now. I wanted more than anything to talk to him, and just try to get everything straight.

Reluctantly, I grab my phone and open it back up. I go straight to my contacts and press Adrien's number. The phone rings for while, and I'm starting to think he wasn't going to answer.

It's not until the last ring that I hear something.

"Hello?" He spoke.

"Adrien! Hi, it's me." I hold the phone close to my ear, excited to hear him.

"Hey, Mari. How are you?" His voice sounds groggy. I think he just woke up.
