Adriens POV

"Sorry, father." I say, sarcastically, as I placed my hand on his chest.

I felt his grip on my neck loosen, and watched as he stumbled back. I fell back, gasping for air.

I looked at him as he groaned out, clutching his chest.

"A-Adrein." He struggled. "How..how dare you."

Immediately after that he began coughing up blood, stretching his hand out as if he wanted me to help him.

I stepped back and looked at him, absolutely disgusted. He had just tried to kill me. My own father.

But I couldn't let my emotions get the better of me. Right now, I just needed Mari to be okay. I rushed over to the corner she was in, and noticed she was still slumped over. That can't be ok.

As soon as I got to her, I got down to her level and tried to shake her awake, but she wouldn't budge. I started tapping her face, poking her, trying anything and everything I could think of but nothing was working.

Just as I was about to start panicking, She let out a groan, and her eyes started fluttering open. I let out a sigh. I'd never been more relieved.

Marinette's POV

I wake up after what felt like a long nap, slowly opening my eyes as they adjusted to the light. My head hurts like hell. Everything's blurry for a second and I couldn't really make anything out.

"You're okay, I got you."  A soft voice spoke.

I looked up and see Adrein—Chat Noir—staring down at me. I'm so confused. I can't remember anything that happened, or why I was even here. What was I doing here? Why did Adrien look so—scared? What happened?

My eyes pan across Adrein's room—It looked like it had been ransacked or something. One of the tall windows in his room is completely shattered and there's overturned furniture.

That's when my eyes fell on Hawkmoth, who was laid on the floor. Slowly, everything began coming back to me.

"Adrien...?"

"Yes?" He answers frantically. "I'm here."

"Are you okay?"

"I'm fine, Mari, don't worry about me." He reassured me. "I just need you to get the hell out of here."

"No...theres no way i'm leaving you here with him." I protested. "Let me help you."

"Come on, Mari." He sighed. "I can handle him."

He helps me up from where I'm sitting, and I'm able to get a better look at Hawkmoth. His chest is covered in blood and there's blood pouring from his mouth. Is he dead?

"What happened, Adrein?" I practically screamed, stumbling backwards as I stared at his seemingly lifeless body. He stops for a second, and just stares at me before he speaks.

"I cataclysmed him."He admits.

"I cataclysmed my father."

His father? What was he even saying?

"What...your father?" I ask.

He doesn't say anything, instead he walks over to him and removes the butterfly miraculous from his collar. Purple light illuminates the room for a second, and then it's gone.

I audibly gasp when I see Gabriel Agreste lied on the floor instead of Hawkmoth. It takes me a second to process what i'm seeing .

This whole time, Gabriel Agreste was Hawkmoth? Adrien's father was Hawkmoth. What the hell?
