Marinette propped her arms up against the railings of her balcony as she rested her head in her hands.
She stared into the night sky, full of twinkling stars looking back at her. She had never felt so alone.

Alya and Nino had become more serious with their relationship, and her parents were on a well needed vacation in Shanghai. All her other friends were occupied with their own lives. No one ever seemed to have time to hang out or catch up, including Adrien Agreste—The boy of her dreams. He was too busy with modeling and photo shoots. Even as a legal adult, he was still required to do whatever his demanding father requested.

She did have one person she could rely on though.

Chat Noir.

The pair had connected with eachother over the past months. They shared way more in common than they initially though. When they were together, Chat always found a way to put a smile on her face, and was always there when she needed someone to confide in. Even after all these years, she was still deeply in love with Adrien, but as hard as she tried to deny it, she was slowly falling for Chat.

It was getting a bit chilly out, so she decided to head back into her room and call it a night. Right before she could open her trap window though, she heard a sudden THUD behind her.

Her body jolted as she turned her head in the direction of the sound

"You almost gave me an heart attack Chat Noir!" She scolded. She was a bit relived to see it was Chat, though.

He didn't respond. Instead, he stared down at the ground, a beautiful red rose falling from his hand. A frown plastered over his face.

"Oh no..." She groaned. "Did Ladybug reject you again?"

She felt so guilty, knowing she had rejected him once again as Ladybug. She wasn't sure if her feelings for Chat were real or not. What about Adrien? She constantly thought.

But tonight, she'd know for sure.

The bluenette slowly walked towards Chat, then placed her hands on his shoulders. She gave a small smile as she stared into his eyes, his deep green eyes that were just so eerily familiar.

"Ladybug's crazy is she doesn't see what I see in you" She began. "Your amazing Chat, you know I'll  always be here for you, no matter what."

He rose his head up, his frown fading away. He suddenly pulled her into a hug, almost lifting her from the ground. She was taken aback for a moment, but soon wrapped her arms around his waist, her head resting on his chest. She could hear his heartbeat; His heart was beating so fast.

They embraced eachother for what felt like hours until they finally broke apart. "Thank you, Marinette"

"You know I'm always here for you Chat." She reassured.

They stood in silence for moment, before his eyes found hers. Chat looked at her in a way he never had before. Her wispy lashes, her long, dark hair that cascaded down her back. Her rosy lips, and her eyes; Her beautiful eyes that were as deep as the ocean, as dreamy as a starry night. She was absolutely gorgeous.

Adrenaline ran through his body as he stared into her glistening eyes. He felt this burning desire within him to feel her lips, but he didn't know why.
Without warning, he inched his face closer to hers, giving her a quick peck on the lips.

His face immediately turned red as he pulled away from her, seeing she just stood there, wide-eyed, her mouth hanging open. Chat, why the hell would you do that?! He said in his head, scolding himself.

"Marinette, I- I am so sorry- I didn't-err mean to-"

But before Chat could even finish his sentence, Mari smiled, wrapping her hands around his neck. Their eyes met once again before she planted a light kiss on his lips.
