Chapter 1

It's been three years since I've left the girls. I would be lying to say that they've never crossed my mind. They would be the faces that would pop into my mind whenever I was shot at. I made sure that I wrote to my dad, Selena, Natasha, and Maia whenever I had the chance. Thankfully, none of them ever brought up the girls whenever they wrote me back. My dad only mentioned them when he told me how they found my letter and called everyone to find out where I was. I felt extremely guilty, but I was now living a new life.

"Shit" my blonde curly haired girlfriend muttered as she almost tripped carrying a tray with my breakfast on it.

I was pretending to be asleep since I could never really sleep well after getting out of the military. I heard her place the tray on the night stand and then crawl into bed and started to kiss my neck.

"Babe wake up" she muttered into my neck.

"Victoria," I whispered and Tori immediately stopped kissing my neck.

"I hate that name" Tori said sitting up and I sat up too.

"But it's your name" I chuckled.

"I told you that I hated my name which is why I went by Tori" Tori said.

"Did you really?" I asked smirking at her.

Tori rolled her eyes. "You only did that to get a rise out of me. Of course, I'm not surprised" Tori said.

"I love you" I said kissing her on the cheek as she tried to cover her face.

"I love you too Y/N" Tori said grabbing my face so that I could look at her.

"I'm starving so let me go freshen up first" I said.

"Oh yeah I almost forgot I made you breakfast" Tori chuckled.

"I'm sure you did" I said getting out of bed and then walking to the bathroom.

"Nice ass" Tori yelled as I closed the bathroom door behind me and I couldn't help but giggle.

I stared at my reflection in the mirror before grabbing my toothbrush from the dispenser and wetting it. I grabbed the tube of toothpaste and squeezed its contents onto my toothbrush. As I started brushing my teeth, my phone started to vibrate and my dad's name was displayed on the caller ID. I spit into the sink before answering.

"Hey dad" I said.

"Y/N!" Hayden yelled into the phone.

"Hey there cutie, what are you up to?" I said.

"Coloring" Hayden said.

"Alright let me talk to your sister" my dad said in the background.

"Okay," Hayden said.

"We have a problem" my dad whispered into the phone.

"What kind of problem?" I asked as I continued to brush my teeth.

"I thought the girls gave up looking for you but I might have been wrong" my dad said.

"I think you're being paranoid dad" I said.

"Just be careful sweetheart and tell Tori that I said hi" my dad said as I spit into the sink.

"I will and I love you" I said.

"Love you too" my dad said.

"Bye" I said and then hung up the phone. I grabbed a towel, ran it under the water, rinsed it out, and then washed my face.

"You're so secretive babe" Tori said from behind me startling me.

"Shit" I said placing the towel on the counter top.
