*Your Flashback*

I stood in a jewelry store with Sam as she talked to the lady about different types of rings. I tuned the entire conversation out because I thought it was a waste of time that either of us was even here. Sam and Ariana were taking a break at the moment, so it made no sense as to why Sam was looking at a ring for a girl she's not even with. I was staring off into space when a middle aged woman approached me.

"Do you work here?" the woman asked.

Did it look like I fucking work here? I swear some people are really dumb.

"No," I said rudely.

"Oh, could you by any chance help me out?" the woman asked.

Do I have something on my face that says that I'm interested in what others have to say? I honestly don't feel like helping anyone or even being here. Since I didn't have anything better to do, I guess I would look around with this woman. She was probably looking at a ring that she hoped her husband would buy her.

"Sure," I said following the woman over to the glass case to look at the different rings.

"I need a certain type of ring" the woman said.

"Would it really matter? I mean a ring is just a symbol of your love" I said.

"A really expensive symbol and I've just got spaced headed. I'm Juliet" Juliet said.

"I'm Y/N, is your fiancée named Romeo by any chance?" I asked jokingly.

"I've heard that one before, but actually my Romeo is a she not a he" Juliet said.

"Really? That's pretty awesome" I said.

"I'm actually surprised that you are fine with that" Juliet said.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"You seemed to not be rather welcoming and I could tell you don't want to be here" Juliet said.

"You are right about both of those and my sister brought me here. She's looking for a ring for her girlfriend that she's on break with" I said.

"She has high hopes" Juliet said.

"More like she's setting herself up failure and she will be disappointed in the end. What if they don't end up together in the end?" I said.

"What if they do? You have to be positive Y/N. What about you?" Juliet said still looking at the rings in the glass case.

"What about me?" I asked.

"It's obvious there's someone special in your life due to those hickeys on your neck" Juliet said.

I quickly pulled my collar up to try to hide the hickeys. I fucking told Dinah and Lauren to be more careful.

"These came from a one night stand" I said.

"Bullshit," Juliet said.

"Excuse me," I said.

"There's no need to lie to me sweetie, I know that you are in a relationship. Your posture tells it all" Juliet said.

"Okay maybe I am, but I don't want to talk about it" I said.

"You are in a complicated situation Y/N and the answer is right in front of you" Juliet said.

"What does that even mean?" I asked.

"I've been married to my wife for almost twenty years and today I somehow managed to lose my ring. I'm only here in hopes that I can find a ring just like the one she gave me. I'm silly to think she won't notice the difference. Things with Bella and I were complicated once, but we made a promise to one another by getting promise rings. She ended up getting sick while I was overseas working on business. I know it was unexpected, but in that moment I felt like I couldn't imagine my life without her when I saw her lying in that hospital bed unconscious. I went out to a jewelry store and purchased a ring. When Bella woke up, I proposed to her and she said yes. Time is a precious thing Y/N. You never know what you got in front of you until something happens to make you realize it. Don't wait for that moment" Juliet said.
