I've seen gruesome things before, but I will admit that I was caught off guard from the image that Lauren sent me. I wasted no time driving back to the girl's place in hopes that they would be there. I was surprised when they actually were. They were sitting down in the living room eating snacks and watching TV as if nothing happened at all.

"What the fuck is this?" I said causing the girls to stop talking to one another and give me their full attention.

"Uh...this is called eating" Dinah said.

Normani rolled her eyes. "Why are you so tense Y/N?" Normani asked popping a pretzel into her mouth.

"Oh well I don't know maybe it has to do with the text I just got about my step dad being handled and the picture that was attached to it" I said.

"Well it was handled so we sent you evidence just in case you didn't believe us" Normani said.

"You are making a big deal out of nothing" Ally said taking a bite of a brownie.

"Are you kidding me? It looked like he was dead" I said.

All the girls laughed and then Camila spoke.

"He's not dead," Camila said.

"Are you sure about that?" I asked.

"We are positive that he's not dead" Lauren said and then winked at me.

"It was tempting though" Dinah said.

"Where is he?" I asked.

"For someone you despise, you sure are asking a lot of questions about his well-being" Normani said.

"I might hate him but he's still a person" I said.

"He's somewhere where he will never hurt you again" Lauren said.

"Camila, where is he?" I asked.

Camila looked around nervously and groaned. "We promised to never lie to you again, so he's in a warehouse" Camila said.

"What warehouse?" I asked.

"No, we are not telling you anymore" Dinah said.

"So much for working on the honesty part with each other" I said.

"You don't get to do that. We are withholding information from you for your own good" Normani said.

"That sounds like an excuse to me" I said.

"We can't tell you anymore Y/N because that would make you an accessory to the crime" Lauren said.

"I thought you said he wasn't dead" I said.

"He isn't," Ally said.

"He's just barely breathing" Dinah chuckled.

"I'm not finding any of this funny" I said.

"It's not meant to be taken as a joke" Camila said.

"Plus you have more important matters" Normani said.

"What are you talking about?" I asked.

"Sam and the twins are on their way here" Ally said.

"They are? Sam didn't text me" I said.

"That's only because we suggested that they came down for a bit" Dinah said.

"Yeah to try and distract me" I said.

"No, you haven't seen the twins in a while so we set something up" Lauren said.

I sighed. "Okay whatever; I'm going to try to figure out something that I can do with them. I think it's time that Tori met them anyway" I said.
