I now sat in a room facing the girls. I didn't know what to say or do. I've seen a lot of shit and yet I still find that image of my step dad and what Lauren did to him rather disturbing.

"I think she's in shock" Camila said.

"Maybe we should slap Y/N in the face and then she will come back to reality" Dinah said.

Camila, Lauren, Normani, and Ally looked at Dinah with a confused expression.

"We aren't going to hit her," Ally said.

"She's just processing everything, I think" Camila said.

"I still think we should hit her because I'm getting bored" Dinah said.

I opened my mouth and then closed it. I wasn't sure what to say, so I said the first thing that came to mind.

"You said he was alive," I said.

"I liked it better when you were in shock," Normani said earning a nudge in the ribs from Ally.

"He is alive," Lauren said.

"What I just saw isn't someone who is alive and well" I said.

"He's alive, we said nothing about being well" Normani said.

"Barely breathing," Ally, Lauren, Dinah, and Camila said at the same time.

"He's practically dead," I yelled at them and stood up.

"Do you want him to be? Because Mani and Lauren have been going easy on him" Dinah said.

"That's fucking murder and you could go to prison" I said.

All the girls giggled and I looked at them like they were crazy.

"How exactly do you think we were able to get your step dad in the first place?" Normani asked.

"I don't know you hired someone" I said.

"Aw that's cute," Ally said.

"We own majority of the police department to keep us out of trouble well in our case Lauren" Camila said.

Lauren shrugged. "I'm not going to deny it" Lauren said.

"Anyway, if you did want your step dad killed it wouldn't have been a problem" Dinah said.

"I know I hated Jimmy with a passion, but no one deserves this" I said.

"Do you think the people shooting at you when you were overseas felt pity for you?" Normani asked.

"That's not the same thing," I said.

"It might as well be Y/N" Ally said.

"Just let him go," I said.

"That's not happening," Lauren said.

"At least give him medical care" I said.

"Sharon examines him," Dinah said.

"To make sure he's still alive," Normani added.

"Do any of you feel remorse about any of this?" I asked.

"Not really," Dinah, Ally, Normani, Camila, and Lauren said at the same time.

"I know this is hypocritical of me, but he is a person and doesn't deserve this" I said.

"Well, we will let you know when he dies" Normani said bluntly.

"I need some air," I said attempting to walk out the room but the door I was trying to open was locked.
