I open the door as Matt comes storming in, looking concerned. "Where is she?" I point to the kitchen, letting him see for himself the state that she's in. Jeremy sits next to her, just trying to stay near him. We stop at the table, looking at all the plates of half eaten food. She sits on the floor, drinking and eating more and more. "What is she on?" Matt asks Jeremy, who ends up shrugging helplessly.

"I-I don't know."

Matt cautiously walks over to her as she keeps eating, crouching down to her level as Jeremy stands up and gets over to me. I tap my fingers on my phone before sending a quick text to Elena, letting her know what's going on.

From: Me

Vicki's over, really messed up. Fair warning for when you come home.

Matt removes her glasses slowly, something that Vicki winces at. "Hey Vic, how you doin'?" A tear slides down her face, sweat dappling her skin. What the hell is she on? What would make her like this?

"Not good, Mattie. I hurt." She replies, looking so messed up. I put a hand on Jeremy's shoulder to comfort him. What do I do in this situation? Should I call a doctor or something? I move around the kitchen, starting to clean up after her. At least that's something I can do.

"Ok, where's it hurt?" Matt asks. Vicki sighs and moves around as I put the dirty plates in the sink, soaking them in water. I put the rest of the food that she didn't finish in the fridge, chucking out things she took a half bite of.

I turn around and see her put her fingers in her mouth. "My gums. My jaw hurts. My gum, there's something in my gums, and it hurts." I stop as I see her put her fingers on the gums above her incisors. The teeth that elongate and become fangs when you're a vampire. That can't be a coincidence, can it? This has to be vampire related.

"Ok, well-" Matt starts to try and say, trying to calm her, before she becomes more erratic and talks over him.

"No, just leave me alone." She cries, rubbing those gums over her incisors again. I look at her. Take in her symptoms. Sensitivity to sunlight, to noise, extremely hungry but nothing satisfies her. The gums above her incisors hurt, like there's something in there. I leave the room, dialing Stefan's number immediately.

"Kara, hey I'm with Elena right now, this isn't a good-"

"You need to get here now." I cut him off, looking at Vicki in the background complain about all the noise around her. "Vicki is here and something is really wrong with her. She says it's too bright, she can hear everything, she's starving but nothing is good enough. And her gums hurt, like there's something in them." I get the information out as fast as I can, stumbling over a few of my words in the process. I hear a pause on the other end, confirming my suspicions.

"Ugh!" I hear a shout and turn around to see Vicki had pushed Jeremy down hard. I hang up the phone immediately, rushing over to check on him. I pull him off of the ground, pulling him behind me so I stand between him and Vicki.

"Damn, Vic." Matt comments, looking from her to Jeremy and our couch that has been shoved away. The door opens and closes, and I move over to see a worried Stefan and Elena walk into the house. Oh thank god.

Elena comes over and checks on Jeremy, looking at the four of us. "What's going on?" I send Stefan a significant look with a raised eyebrow when he looks over at me, nodding to Vicki so he gets what I was trying to convey to him. He nods, getting closer to her.

"She's really messed up." Matt replies to her question, running a hand through his hair. Stefan looks at the news before going in front of Elena, pushing her away from Vicki, muttering for her to back up. She does so, moving aside so he can get a good look at Vicki.
