I'm sensitive.
I let one joke throw my day off balance
I let one remark leave a mental mark
Every word said is a post-it note that I stick to my head
I overthink simple comments
Ones that had no bad intent
A single word is all it takes for rain
I take everything too seriously,
Too personally.
People find it annoying,
But that's okay,
Cause I find myself annoying too.
