Slamming Doors

My door used to be wide open
Allowing anyone to come in
My parents would stand in the frame and have a pleasant conversation with me.
Slowly I started closing my door
Wanting to be alone
But my parents still came in to talk
It was a little annoying but I didn't mind.
Now all I do is slam my door
Argument after argument.
Screaming matches with my mom
And disappointment from my dad.
No more pleasant conversations are had
All I feel is anger
All I feel is sadness
Why can't it be how it used to be?
