"This movie is ass." Lillian's brother Gavin expressed as he stole his sisters blanket off of her.
"Really? I thinks it's a bit scary." Lily told as she hid under the pillows because her younger brother stole her blanket.
"Only you would think stab is scary." Gavin teased after stuffing his mouth with popcorn. The thing is Lily hated everything scary especially things based off a true story like stab, it's just so scary to think that this shit actually happened to someone.
Just as the girl was about to say something back to her bratty little brother the doorbell rang. Amber was finally here.
"I got it!" Lillian yelled but was too late as her mom already opened the door and was greeting the girl.
"Hello, Amber. How are you?" Ms. Carpenter asked as she hugged Amber for a quick moment.
"Good, you?" Amber questioned looking at her girlfriend instead of her mom.
"I'm okay thanks for asking, I'll let you too 'hang out'" Angie Carpenter put air quotes around the words hang out giving her daughter second hand embarrassment.
"Thanks mom, you're too kind." Lily replied as she got up to embrace her girlfriend.
"Hey beautiful." Amber whispered into Lillian's ear as she slipped her hands around lilys waist.
"let's go to my room." Lillian took Ambers hand leading the way to her bedroom.
"You guys watching stab?" Amber asked the two siblings as she quickly walked past the tv. For some reason Amber had taken an interest in this stupid movie recently.
"It's so stupid." Gavin responded as he went on his phone probably to text his girlfriend that he thinks he's keep a secret.
"You didn't have to watch it!" Lily shouted then shut her door as Amber flopped down on the purple bed.
"Come." Amber patted the spot next to her as her girlfriend climbed next to her. Amber immediately wrapped her arm around her girlfriend.
"You smell good." Amber complemented Lily then kissed her neck going further downward until she was stopped by an out of breath Lily. "Ahh no way we are doing this with my whole family in the other room!"
"You're so lame." Amber released Lily out of her grasp after kissing her once more on the forehead.
"Or I just know my mom is gonna walk in any second." Lillian told and like on cue Angie barged in without knocking with a tray of snacks.
"Mom, we discussed this knock before coming in!" Lily reminded her mom as she took the tray of food. "Oh right sorry!"
"It's alright, thank you mom." Lillian thanked as the next one barged right in trying to steal snacks.
"Let me just have one." Gavin pleaded as he put his hands together and did his puppy dog eyes.
"Take whatever you like, we're not gonna eat this all." Lily smiled at Gavin who filled his hands up with snacks.
"You're the best." Gavin exclaimed as he carefully shut the door making sure to not drop anything.
"I thought they'd never leave." Amber went right back to kissing Lillian who did cave in for all of one minute.
"Maybe tomorrow, my mom's not gonna be home and Gavin has swimming practice." Lily smiled at her girlfriend and then kissed her nose.
"Okayyy." Amber sighed.
The two girls watched a movie and cuddled until Amber had to go back home to help her mom pack for a work trip.
"Bye love you." Lillian kissed her girlfriend goodbye and quickly ran back inside.
"You guys are so cute, hun." Ms. Carpenter let her know as her daughter walked back in.
"Ew mom I'm gonna throw up in my mouth." Gavin pretend to gag so in response Lily threw a piece of popcorn at him.
"You're so dramatic." Lillian rolled her eyes at her clueless brother and sat right next to him so they could watch tiktoks together.
Just as Lillian was drifting off on her brothers shoulder her phone went off.

"bro Tara's house got broken into and she got attacked."
"Holy crap, do they know who did it?"
"Not yet."
"Is she okay?"
"The fuck type of question is that? Of course she's not okay!"
"Sorry I'm just in shock, don't have to be a jerk"
"You're right."
"When i am not?"
"She's like in deep sleep."
"A coma? What happened?"
"Yeah that, and my mom won't tell me yet. I'll update you if anything else happens, I have to go."
"Okayyy bye love you!"
"Love you too."
"Mom, Gavin, guess what?!" Lily asked her two closest friends. Yes they're her brother and mom what about it?
"What?" The two others said in sync.
"Tara got attacked, she's in a coma." Lillian told and for a reason unknown Gavin bursted out laughing.
"What wrong with you? Why are you this way?" Lily asked her brother who was crying because he was laughing so hard.
"I'm sorry I can't help it!" Gavin struggled to get out because of his uncontrollable laughter.
"Gavin Taylor, stop right now! This is serious! Your cousin could be dying and you're laughing about it?" Angie thought that would work but her son kept on laughing to the point his sides ached.
"If you don't stop I'm taking your phone and ps5." Angie got him to shut up real quick with that one.
