[A long chapter ahead, guys, enjoy.]

"What is it, Jimin? Just tell me already. You know how much I love sports cars, and I would do anything for them," Jungkook said, waiting for his offer.

Jimin leaned in slightly, lowering his voice. "I'll give you the sports car, but only if you can make a girl fall for you before graduation."

Jungkook raised an eyebrow, smirking. "A girl, huh? Seems easy enough. Who?"

Jimin turned his head towards Haejin and Jisoo's table.

Jimin smirked. "Bet you can't make her fall for you before graduation."

Jungkook leaned back with a grin. "That girl? Please. Consider it done."

Jimin chuckled, his gaze unwavering. "We'll see. Bet?"

Jungkook grinned. "Bet."

The bell rang. They exchanged looks before heading back to class.

Jungkook entered his class with his usual confidence, but his eyes scanned the room this time until they landed on her. Haejin sat by the window, her gaze locked into the book she was reading ever so intensly.

Jungkook's lips curved into a faint smirk. She has no idea what's coming.

The game had officially begun. He was going to make her fall for him. The sooner she did, the sooner he'd get his hands on the sleek Aston Martin Valkyrie.

Determined, Jungkook casually walked over and slid into the empty seat beside her. He leaned back slightly, smiling at her. "Hey," he greeted her smoothly.

Haejin glanced at him. Her expression clearly shows her non-interested self. With a slight nod, she returned her focus to the textbook in front of her.

Jungkook blinked. Nothing? Not even the bare minimum of politeness? He felt his jaw clench slightly.

As the class began, he observed her every move—how she twirled her pen between her fingers when she was thinking, the way she bit her lower lip slightly when concentrating, and how she occasionally tucked her hair behind her ear when it fell into her eyes. It was subtle, graceful, and completely unintentional.

But she never once looked at him. And that made him go feral.

Now, it wasn't just about the car. Something about her, the way she treated him like he was nothing, bruised his ego in a way he hadn't expected.

Every girl wants me, he thought, watching her flip through her notes without a glance in his direction. Why is she any different?

The next few days passed in a frustrating blur. He tried everything—sitting closer, making casual small talk, even 'accidentally' brushing against her desk to catch her attention. Nothing. She was unfazed.

She seemed to ignore him. While every other girl found some excuse to talk to him, giggling at his every word, Haejin barely acknowledged his existence.

For the first time, Jungkook was the one craving attention—and he was being denied.

By the end of the week, though, he finally made a bit of progress.

It was a breezy Wednesday morning. Jungkook casually strolled up beside her.
"Morning," he greeted her with a bright smile.

This time, she glanced at him and—finally—muttered a quiet, "Hey," before walking off.

It was brief. Barely a greeting.
But to Jungkook, it felt like a victory.

For the next few days, she started replying when he greeted her. Short responses, but replies nonetheless. If he asked a direct question about their assignments or the lecture, she would answer.
