I ain't never been good at sharing But with you, I practice patience And I let you do your thing 'cause I'm doing mine Always actin' like I'm good when I know I'm lyin
It was hard for her to look at Luka flirt with Zoey. She was aware of their history together and knew that both parties were flawed in that relationship. It was like they were magnets, two opposite personalities that attracted eavh other strongly and it would be hard for them to stay away from each other.
Y/n had a feeling that her emotions were on full display as her sister nudged her arm. "Huh?" she turned quickly. "Are you okay?" Tanya asked. Tanya was her best friend of 10 years. "He drives me insane. I shouldn't be mad because we're doing our own thing." she stated, walking farther away from the two. "but I'm pissed as hell."
As she continued her rant, she quickly glanced and noticed that he was heading her way. Excusing herself to the bathroom, Y/n walked away swiftly to let out some steam. Tanya knew what the deal was and followed her. "Hey!" Luka called but only earned a death glare from the woman who was scorned before heading off to her next class for the day.
I've been postin' pics That ass been lookin' thick Does it make you jealous? I can't be the only one
It was now the weekend and Y/n was not going to let Luka ruin her day. Tanya was her photographer as she was hers and let's just say that she never misses. After posting the photo, y/n put her phone on do not disturb.

As she walked into the house party, it did not take long for her to turn heads. Y/n waved at the few people she associated with before making her and Tanya drinks. Grabbing her cup, she looks up and peeps Luka as well.
He was very popular, it seemed. "as if it couldn't get any worse." she mumbled. "Girl don't let him get to you. We're here and we're gonna have fun." Tanya encouraged, making her smile and side hug her best friend.
"I'll be back." Tanya says, motioning to her phone as she takes a call outside. After making her drink, she walks to the common area of the house. "excuse me."
Turning around, guess who she sees?
"Luka." she retorted subtly, moving to the side to search for Tanya. "You look good." "I know." she answered, trying to walk past him, only for him to block her view. "Move." she commanded, growing annoyed at his antics.
"Come on, we need to talk." he said, leaning on the wall. "we don't." she uttered. He ultimately pulls her to the side to a more quiet area. "why are you so upright? It's not like we're together."
Y/n then nods, pursing her lips together. "You're right. We aren't." she smiles a bit at the realization. "do what you want." she replied blankly. Luka tried to grab her arm but she snatched away and walked off.
Y/n was hurt at what he said but he was right. They haven't made it exclusive, but that didn't mean she liked that he talked to other women.
"asshole." she mumbled, taking a sip of alcohol. "his loss." she shrugged, walking around aimlessly until she found an empty bathroom. After just standing in there for a few minutes, she walks out, bumping into someone.
"I am so sorry. I didn't look where I was going." she quickly apologizes. "it's okay. I'm Joey." holding out his hand in which she glady takes.

His melanated skin was something that caught her eyes immediately. "You're very handsome" she compliments, much to his amusement. "thank you. You're very beautiful." she chuckles a bit, thanking him for the compliment.
As they talked, he bit his bottom lip. It drove her crazy on the inside. Luka who?
They converse and all sparks begin to develop between them.
Meanwhile, Luka and Zoey were in a field of their own. But even as they chatted, he thought about someone else. His eyes traveled, landing on Y/n but he wasn't happy at what he seen.
Y/n was all smiles, her bright white smile was shown to someone else. It bothered him. It really did.
