You just couldn't help but see his smile everywhere. It brightened up every room that he entered.
Sitting in a corner of her bed, it felt like time was passing by very quickly. She looked to the side, eyes widening once she seen him looking at her.
"C-cameron?" she uttered, only for him to smile back at her. Reaching out to him, he disappeared right in front of her eyes.
Touching the space where he laid, it was so cold. Reality finally set in. He was actually gone.
It's been a year, but the pain will always remain. She couldn't watch the television without thinking about how he would throw popcorn in her face.
Or how he would snuggle into her whenever he got home from the set. Or even how you guys would take turns doing each other's hair.
She would check in on the family every once in a while to make sure they are in a better place. They deserved the world.
She pulled on the hood of her jacket, it was Cameron's. It still had the scent of his favorite cologne. "Y/n..."
Ignoring the call, Y/n laid down on the pillow. It's hard to get over the death of someone that you love dearly. "Sweetie..."
Someone pulled her into their lap. The warmth finally causing her to break down. "It's okay baby." "It's not okay..... I can't see him anymore. He's gone! He's not alive anymore!"
Just breaking down completely is all that she could do. It was only when arms wrapped around her body where she suddenly stopped crying.
"Wait..." she hesitates as she raised her head.
"Hey Y/n." she broke down in tears again, hugging him tightly. He was so cold but she didn't care. "I miss you so much." She took one good look at him, from his beautiful freckles to the all white clothing.
"Everyone misses you, Cam." "I just came from seeing my family. I missed them more than they ever imagine." he replied.
"I just knew that I had to see you too." Cameron said as she sat down in front of him.
"We wish you were here." Y/n answered, looking down. His hand grasped her cheek, slowly rubbing his thumb across it.
"I love you, okay? Please don't hurt yourself like this. I can't stand it." She looked away, eyes filling with tears.
"Look at me," he used both of his hands, making sure she was looking directly at him. "I need you to promise me that."
"I promise." she finally answered.
He smiled, leaning his forehead against hers. She was finally able to smile that day.
Pulling him into a hug, she knew that the time they were spending together would be cut short soon. "I love you."
He wrapped his arms around her waist, tears brimming in his own eyes. "I love you so much." she mumbled in his arms. "I love you too."
She released him from the hug. "Here..." he mumbled, taking off his necklace with a pendant. "I need you to keep this safe. Can you do that?" she nodded instantly.
Cameron soon grabbed her by the cheek and planted his lips onto hers. Y/n kissed back but it was like the more they kissed, the sleeper she felt.
He let go and she was already napping.
"I'll always be here." Cameron stated, kissing her forehead, and walking to her window. Taking one last look, he stepped into the light, vanishing from her room.
