"You know you can't keep this in forever." I looked over to my therapist. "I don't know what you're talking about, Ms. Chungha." She just shakes her head. She turns to her bookshelf, leaving me enough time to wipe my face.
"Take this. It better be filled by the end of this week. I better see at least one page of your emotions." I nod, not having enough energy to reject. The book has a blue cover. I liked the color blue, no matter the shade.
...
"What the hell am I even supposed to do now? I can't just express myself that easily." Here I am. Groaning at something so simple yet so difficult.
"Start off slowly." Once that phrase is repeated, I sighed and began what was on my mind.
It wasn't a lot but it was a start.
"Baby!" Hoseok called and I looked over. He was napping earlier, looking so adorable.

"How was the therapy session?" he pressed a kiss on my temple, sitting next to me. Hoseok knew that I was going to therapy and he's been nothing but supportive for me. He's always been helpful and he's even made me tea every time he caught me upset.
"It was different. But I think we could be getting somewhere." "I'm proud of you." He presses his lips against my cheek. "You gonna go with the boys?" "Yeah. We're going to go out to eat. You want to come?" "As fun as that sounds, I have something I need to do." Putting the book as my main priority, he nodded.
"I'll call you when I get there. I love you." Pressing my lips to his, I replied "I love you too."
Hearing his car pull out from the driveway, the smile instantly dropped from my face.
Looking at that book again, I decided that now was the time to express myself... Finally.
Once that pen hit the first page, it was like it couldn't it stop. It's hard to express myself vocally but writing it out was better.
...
It was Saturday.
Chungha walked into her office where she was waiting. "Wow, you're here early. How was your week, Y/n?" She said nothing but gave her the book.
"Did you write in it?" the girl nodded, not a word leaving her mouth. Chungha opens the book to find that there was exactly a couple pages left of the book.
"You wrote a lot. Clearly you've had a lot on your mind. I'm proud of you. And I'm happy that you were able to express this with me."
