These days, Prapai hates going home late. Never once it crossed Prapai's mind that he will one day turn into such a home person. With the environment that he grew up in, living the lifestyle that he lived, he always thought he would never leave his playboy lifestyle. He didn't understand the meaning of finding true love, even when his own mother nagged him about it constantly since young. Maybe it was the rebellious part of him which made him ignore everything his mother said about the importance of appreciating love and did just exactly that. Throwing love, the way Prapai knew how, with his own good looks, charming personality and most important of all, thick wallet. 

When Sky came into his life, he finally understood what was his mother trying to tell him all along. Loving Sky was a decision which changed how he viewed so many things in life. One can say it made Prapai finally grow up, spiritually as his own mother puts it. Prapai understood it was with Sky that he wanted to be with for the rest of his life. His world now is a world where Sky is and exist. Sky's the opposite of Prapai in many ways. While he submits to Prapai often enough, Sky isn't one without his own trains of thoughts. Took Prapai long enough time to convince Sky that Prapai is there to stay for him and it is a permanent deal. 

Prapai knew the moment when Sky agreed to start a family with him, it was Sky's confirmative way of telling Prapai that Sky trusts him and commits to the both of them in life, fully. Sky isn't someone good with words but when he has to convey how he feels, Sky can be pretty straightforward, both in words and in actions. 

Now, both of them are very excited while waiting for the arrival of their bundle of joy coming, really soon. Sky took to working from home as a junior architect after a long talk about work expectations with Prapai. To Prapai, Sky doesn't even need to work at all if he choses but he knew how important having an occupation is for Sky. Prapai was proud of himself when their discussions about how the family building is going to be turned to be surprisingly very civil and full of considerations for each other. Yeah, Prapai is very lucky to have a soul mate who is very mature in thinking.  

So Sky works part time for an architecture firm (the working from home part of course needed some strings pulling from Prapai, not that Sky needed to know about that. His cousin is powerful enough to help) and being as stubborn as he is, insisted on keeping house to with as minimal help from hired help as possible. Prapai decided not to insist on solving housekeeping with money, knowing full well it will upset Sky so instead, they moved into a much smaller and cozier luxury apartment (which Sky chose of course) which needed less work to maintain. At the moment, Sky was happy with the arrangement, Prapai doesn't need to worry about Sky overexerting himself with both work or keeping house and just focus on resting while waiting for their baby to arrive to the world. 

Prapai unlocked the door to their apartment. His meetings ended up late. He practically ran home the moment he shut his laptop. He would have canceled or skipped it if it wasn't for his dad insisting he joined. That was how he missed his dinner with Sky. The dining room area was dark of course so automatically he walked to his bedroom. There Sky was, still reading on the bed while listening to soft music from his phone. 

"Babe, you're still awake?" Prapai called out. Sky smiled, straighten his back, put his book away and stretched out his arms to welcome Prapai home with a hug. Prapai love hugs. 

"I'm not sleep yet so we decided to wait for you to come home," 

We. Prapai smiled. Yup, there will be another addition in their lives besides Sky and Prapai. He loves it every time Sky includes their baby in their conversations. It feels warm.

 Prapai automatically kisses Sky's stomach and put his ear to listen. 

"Daddy's home! Love you na," Prapai said. Sky caressed his hair. Prapai thought the felt a little kick. Must be baby responding back, welcoming him home. It was a great feeling. 

"P'Pai...did you have your dinner already? I hope you ate?" Prapai was about to lie that he ate but his stomach betrayed him almost instantly. Nope, he starved since lunch. Work was too hectic to remember eating sometimes. Sky heard the stomach growls. 

"So you didn't eat?" Prapai sheepishly shook his head. 
"We had an emergency meeting the whole day toady, didn't really have the time to think about anything else," Prapai explained, bracing himself waiting for Sky to start his lecture about the importance of eating on time. But none came. Instead...

"I see...then why don't you go take a shower while I make you something? There's still soup I made from yesterday," Sky offered. 

Prapai shook his head, "Babe you don't have to do anything. It's late. You should rest. I can eat tomorrow morning. I wouldn't die if I skip a meal, really," 

"It's okay. I am feeling a snack myself too. I think baby is hungry too. So just go and shower while I make you something okay? Fried egg with ketchup sandwich? I'll heat up the soup too," Prapai smiled. Sky is too sweet. "It's perfect babe," Prapai said and Sky slowly got himself up from the bed. Prapai enjoys observing how Sky walk these days while carrying their baby. Constant hands supporting his waist. Though, Sky stills prefers wearing oversized T-shirt (usually his) and three quarter shorts which hides most of the baby bump. Doesn't decrease Sky's cuteness one bit, in Prapai's eyes. 

The smell of fried eggs and hot soup reaching Prapai's nose the moment he stepped out of the bathroom and out to the kitchen reminded him again how hungry he was. There it was a plate of fried egg ketchup sandwiches waiting for him and hot soup. Prapai stood by the door to watch Sky washing the frying pan and other utensils and gently keeping everything away. 

Sky noticed him standing. "P'Pai, you can eat first. I'll join you right after," to which Prapai nodded and took his seat by the dining table. Prapai took his time to observe his current situation. His current moment. 

 As Sky finished his washing and drying his hands, he joined Prapai at the table. He has his own bowl of soup with bits of meat in them. Sky smiled and nudged Prapai to eat as he took a sip from his own bowl of soup. 

As the warm liquid warmed his stomach, Prapai realized just how lucky he is. There he was, in an apartment he calls home. In this home, there was a person who loves him with all his heart and someone he loves with all his heart, who cooked a warm meal for him. They are enjoying their meal while another family member is growing and who will soon be joining them. This home is filled with love, warmth and hope. 

Prapai knew nothing could beat this moment of happiness as he took a bite of the sandwich Sky made him. It's just perfect as it is.
