Evie pov
"No boy your crazy I can't it's almost my curfew and my dad stepped out I can't go anywhere with anybody until he gets back" I was currently on the FaceTime with Jah I'm starting to really like him he's a cool dude

"Damn not even for a few minutes I'm starting to miss your little ass you don't miss me"  I giggled "of course I do but my family is going through a lot right now so I don't wanna give my dad another thing to be stressed about I'm sorry"

He shook his head "nah baby girl you good I totally understand" I sighed in relief "I'm glad but what ...." I heard something downstairs and I'm the only one in the house so my heart dropped

"Hey let me call you right back Jah" he looked at me like I was crazy "yo you good you need me to stop by" I shook my head "nah I just think I heard something downstairs but it's probably my dad" he nodded

"Ight then make sure you call me back" I nodded then hung up then sat my phone on my bed making my way out my room and down the steps to see

The front window by the door open and the front door wide open "Eden what are you wearing" my heart dropped then I turned around to see my mother "uhh mom what are you doing here my daddies not here"

"You just asked me what am I doing in my house and who the hell changed the locks I had to climb through a window in my own house" I looked at her stupid "daddy did after you disappeared which is really why you shouldn't be here right now let me go call daddy"

My mom then stepped in front of me when I was about to make my way up the steps "why are you calling your dad don't you wanna sit down and talk to your mom you never answer my question who bought you these clothes"

I made a face "my dad brought then and I designed them but I really think I should call daddy so if you would excuse me mom my phone is upstairs" she kept blocking my path trying to get up the steps

But after I played chicken with her for a few seconds I finally got past her until she ran up the stairs and caught me by my hair dragging me down then "your so ungrateful I come back after a month and that's the hello I get from you"

"Mom let me go your scaring me" she didn't listen and added a stinger grip to my hair "you fucking spoiled little bitch I hate you" I was so confused and scared you see my mom has never been a regular woman but I have never seen her this way before

I then finally found his number in my phone waiting for him to pick up and after a few rings he did thank god "hello Chloe what do I owe the pleasure of this call at 11:30 at nights is everything ok" I shook my head no not like he could see me but I was overwhelmed in a panic

"No your wife broke in your house through the windows and now she's attacking Evie we need you to come home right now Evie is holding her down but I don't think she can fight her for much longer"

"Oh my fucking god I'm turning on the block now tell Evie to hold her until I get there and you call the cops I'm coming" the phone then hung up and I quickly dialed 911 "911 what's your emergency"

"My friend mom broke into her house now she's beating her up we need someone here now her address is 7690 Bellwood rd her house is a grey brick house please hurry"
