"Oh look at you looking all handsome for church this beautiful Sunday morning" I said in a very southern accent making Fresh roll his eyes "girl I look handsome everyday fuck you mean" I giggled

And walked up to him seductively "oh baby I know" making him bite his lip but quickly remembering "aye yo ass better stop before they have to see us next Sunday" I laughed and said

"Ight my fault but it's about time for jah,Evie,and ky to be walking in so let's go downstairs" yes everyone is coming to church today even Ky because we didn't wanna leave him in the house by his self because Evie finally told me what happened to him yesterday

He got a call from his mom a few weeks ago saying that his dad had passed away and even though he didn't know him all to good it still hurt him bad which is understandable because even though I'm not to happy with my mom

I would be a mess if she was taken from me "aye yall about ready" my pops said from in the kitchen making us walk in to see us all dress and coordinating "well don't y'all look Sunday ready" my pops said as he put a plate of breakfast in front of us along with 3 others

For the others which made me smile but the mood was quickly ruined when my mom said "your wearing that to church" I looked up at her with a blank stare and say "nah I just walked down in this for fun

But if you give me time I can go back upstairs and put my clown suit on" my dad smirked while my mom looked shocked and fresh chuckled "don't get snarky with me this morning I was just saying that dress is short and those heels are pretty tall you should never be taller than you man"

I huffed "my dress covers my butt I'm able to bend over and everything and Fresh is well over a foot taller than me so me wearing heels won't effect us in any way mother" she rolled her eyes "and what about his tattoos how does he plan on covering them"

I made a face "he doesn't he already has on a long sleeve shirt in April plus he's not the only one at Chruch with tattoos they will live" before my mom could say anything else the door opened "other family where are y'all" which made me smile to hear Evie's voice

"We in the kitchen" it took a few seconds but our three friends came around the corner also looking church ready "how are y'all young people doing this morning I've made y'all some breakfast to have something on y'all stomach until the after service"

Everyone smiled and started taking seats at the island next to me and fresh

"You ready" I nodded so when I agreed to sing I only agreed I'd Evie would do it with me and of course she did because truth be told we both love dining in front of crowds

So we grabbed our microphones and walked to the front of the church "how y'all doing today church family" I said making everyone say good,blessed,I woke up,etc

"We'll it's been a minute since y'all heard my voice and my beautiful mother reminded me of that so do y'all mind if we let go work through us for a second" everybody started to cheer making me nod then look at my assistant Levi to start playing the music

We were singing promises by Joel barns and Naomi raine and Evie started making the church lift there hand dashing back and forth to sound of my best friends beautiful voice until my part came up

"Yes I'll still bless you in the middle of my storm in the middle of trial I still bless you in the middle of the rode and I don't know which way to go" I then looked over at Evie so we could walk off the platform and start participating with

The people in the church "I've got a reason to bless your name you've been so good to me you've been so good come on everybody raised your hands and help me worship"

This is the part I missed about church the way my voice moves people some people were crying rocking back and forth just having that reaction to my voice makes me feel amazing

"Boy your plate is literally mounted over with food you will indeed be full when we get home" I said to fresh as we were now at the after service dinner with me,Evie,jah,ky,Levi,and Crystal all sitting at the same table

But right when are conversation continues something perked my ears when somebody came over to Fresh "I would have never thought I would see you in the house of the lord" making me turn to see Brooklyn momma

Which made me roll my eyes "hello ms.cannon is there an issue" she looked at me and rolled her eyes "after all he did to my daughter I'm surprised your momma didn't make you run for the hills this boy is the devil and god will have something for you young man"

I made a face because what the fuck are you getting outta coming over here and embarrassing him "ok I think that's enough can you please go back to your seat it's no need to embarrass him in public" she looked taken back by my words but before she could say anything

My dad came over putting a hand on her shoulder "sister cannon I think my daughter has made it very clear of her discomfort and it would be very wise of you to go back to your seat with your daughter if your so worried about her well being"
