"Yes Ky but if you let me hang up this phone I would be at school way faster" so it's a few days after that little situation and I'm back at my house but unfortunately my mom is still here

But luckily my dad made her sleep in the basement are basement is like a guest room though so she's fine we just don't talk much anymore well I don't talk to her she still says stuff to me but ignore it or if my dads not home I'll leave back out

And Evie has been kinda going through the same thing her mom was only in a holding cell for a day because Evie didn't wanna press charges for the same reason I didn't I was upset with my momma but I still love her

So her mom is back in the house to which has us over Ky and Jah's house frequently like we are supposed to be going there after school to chill,eat,and watch movies

"Damn why can't I just stay on the phone with you yo ass already took a shower what else do you have to do" I giggled "your interrupting my music and plus your gonna be here soon anyways to pick me up"

He sucked his teeth "your so difficult just let a nigga be in your presence" I rolled my eyes "bye Ky text me when your outside" he rolled his eyes to "Ight baby"

*time jump
"Ight I'll be out in a second" Evie just called me and said they are outside waiting for me so I ran down the steps but first I went into the kitchen to get me a snack to hold me over until we get lunch later

But my mom was standing at the island  in her pajamas because it's her day off but I just walked right past her going into the fridge "so you can't speak" I turned around and looked at my mom for a second then looked back in the fridge

"Good morning" I then grabbed a Capri sun out the fridge then walked over to the pantry grabbing some cheese it's "that's what your wearing to school" I looked down at my outfit then the book bag on my shoulder and said "yup"

She scuffed "your not gonna go out some pants out" I shook my head "nope" I could tell my mom was getting made but I don't give a fuck she hurt me and my dad he doesn't even wanna be in the house

"What's wrong with you and all these one word answers how did you become so disrespectful" I shrugged "my ride is outside bye" then I walked away and out the door

Walking up to Ky's big ass truck and hopping in the back seat with Evie "what took you so long baby" I rolled my eyes "my mom kept trying to talk to me this morning and got mad when I didn't wanna talk back"

Everybody in the car shook their heads "girl I'm going through the same thing except my momma came into the bathroom and started talking shit and I'm in the shower so I can't just walk away

She even turned my music off i can't wait to move out" I shook my head "this situation is so fucking dirty" everyone in the car started to laugh but I was dead ass serious

"Yeah I don't know but I am craving some African food maybe we can have that I would have to stop at the store to get a toothbrush because I don't be in that man face with stink breath"

Me and Evie we're currently in 5 period  which is choir but our teacher isn't here today so are substitute is letting us chill  and finish up some paperwork "yeah me too you know Nijah asked us if we wanted to start spending the night at their house

So I'm thinking since we already be over there so much it just makes sense" I made a face "I don't know our dads didn't even meet them yet I think they would say no"

She shook her head "I don't think they would say no due to the situation that's going on in our houses right now I think we just have to ease them into it" I nodded "yeah your right do you wanna ask them after school

Like we can just tell Ky and Jah to drop us off we can ask our dads then drive back over there ourselves" she nodded "yeah that sounds like a good idea I'll text the boys now"

*time jump*
"Daddy where are you" I waited a second then heard "I'm in here from the kitchen" I then walked in there to see my dad on his computer sitting at the island

And my mom was cooking but she seemed angry but I didn't question it "did you get my text" he nodded I told him Mr.Jordan was coming over with Evie because we had to talk to them about something together

I said ok then immediately hear a knock at the door so I ran to go open it to see Evie,Mr.Jordan,and Mrs Jordan all looking upset but I just said come in walking back into the kitchen with them following me

Then when we got back their our dads gave each other some dap and Evie's mom sat down near my mom then me and Evie stood in front of our dad

Then I started it off "Ok dad so me and Evie have been thinking we are 18 now and y'all have been giving us more freedom which we are really great full for" then Evie hopped in "and y'all are aware that we have been dating these boys for the past month now so

We were gonna ask due to the situation going on at home and our discomfort and us already being their a lot can we start spending the night over Kymani and Nijah's house

Just like on weekends or like whatever we have your permission of course" our dads looked at us with kinda a blank stare for a second then they looked at each other "can y'all give us a second me and Steve need to have a talk in the other room"

I was scared of what they were gonna say
