"Nah not really I'm just gonna go run some of these errands like pick up my cheer uniform from the dry cleaners with Evie ,then me and Evie have to get our nails refill,then probably chill with the girls to be honest" I was currently in the kitchen with my dad

Telling him what I had planned today on this wonderful Saturday morning because he asked "well that's good because ima need you to steer clear of your mother right now she's not really happy about what happened in divorce court"

I raised my eyebrows "what happened now" my mom and dad have been fighting back and force about who gets what for months now and it's kinda stressing "you know how she tried to get the house but I'm the primary owner and pays for everything in here including all the bills

They told her that she couldn't get the house and effective in one year she had to move out which was great news for me bad new for her she started to cuss me and my lawyer out which was just making her look worse in the case of you

She tried to get full custody of you even though your an adult but she tried to plead the case that you are still in school so technically your still a minor which is somewhat true but about time this divorce is finalized you'll be in college"

I huffed "what happened to her I know she was a little thrown off before but this is a new and different type of crazy" he shrugged "ever since she snuck off with Kelly to god knows where she been acting like a complete fool but that's not my business anymore I'm about to be a single man again I wanna see if your old man still got it"

I rolled my eyes because my dad is an attractive man which was made very clear to me by my friends on the cheer squad but I just said "yuck dad I don't wanna hear nothing about that" which made us both chuckle

"Ight before we go anywhere I forgot my wallet at Jah's house so that had to be our first stop" I rolled my eyes at Evie because why couldn't she just not be forgetful "it's ok I'll pay for you today let's go"
