THE ROOM was filled with silence as we all stared in disbelief at Max's lifeless body lying on the ground. It was a scene straight out of a horror movie, and I couldn't believe that it was happening in real life. Naalala ko na naman ang nangyari sa janitor na si Miguel, ganitong ganito ang nangyari sa kanya.
As the reality of the situation sunk in, everyone started to panic as well as the people in the cafe. Emily was crying uncontrollably, while Julianna was trying to call the police. Liam was pacing back and forth, muttering to himself, and I was frozen in place, unable to move or speak.
"Who did this?!" Liam demanded, his voice trembling with anger and fear.
"I don't know," Julianna replied, tears streaming down her face. "We were all together the whole time. No one could have slipped anything into his drink."
"Then how did this happen?" Emily wailed. "Who could have done such a thing?"
It was a question that no one had an answer to. We were all too shocked and confused to think clearly. But one thing was clear – someone among us was a killer, and we had to find out who it was before they struck again.
"What happened here?"

"Hello, Neira!" Bati nito sa'kin. Lumapit ang kasama niyang lalaki sa katawan ni Max habang nagsusuot ng gloves at sinimulan nitong suriin kung ano ang nangyari.
"Kasama mo pala si Zeke." Sabi ko kay Crystle.
"A-hmm. . . Yes," She awkwardly smile. "Siya 'yong tinutukoy ko kanina."
Is there something going on between these two? Hindi ko mapigilang mapangiti pero binawi agad ito ng aking mga labi nang marinig kong humahagulgol na sa iyak si Emily.
"The victim was obviously poisoned," Zeke said, as he leaned over Max's lifeless body.
"The question is, with what and how?"
He carefully inspected Max's skin.
Zeke nodded grimly as he examined Max's body. "It looks like he ingested the poison through something he ate or drank," he said, his eyes scanning the room for any clues. "Did anyone see him drinking or eating anything unusual?"
There was a murmur of voices as everyone tried to recall what Max had consumed during the party. Julianna's eyes widened in realization, "I remember him having a cup of coffee before he collapsed!"
