AS WE REACHED the rooftop, our hearts pounding with a mix of anticipation and concern, a wave of relief washed over us as we discovered Crystle in the middle, tied to a chair, blindfolded, and with her mouth gagged.
We hurriedly rushed towards her.
Zeke swiftly untied the blindfold and removed the gag from Crystle's mouth. However, our joy turned into deep concern as we realized something was amiss. She remained motionless, her body unresponsive.
"Crystle, are you okay? Can you hear us?" I said.
No response came from Crystle.
Panic welled up within us as we struggled to comprehend the situation.
"What's wrong with her? Why isn't she responding?" Tanong ni William.
Yoda's keen eyes scanned Crystle's body, his senses honed to detect the slightest irregularities. He observed the way her limbs remained limp, devoid of any voluntary movement, and the lack of reflexes in response to external stimuli. A deep furrow formed on Yoda's brow as he pieced together the puzzle before him.
"She is paralyzed. But not a common one, it seems." His voice carried a mix of concern and determination, revealing his commitment to deciphering the mysterious affliction that had befallen Crystle. "The absence of muscular response and the overall lack of sensation point to a paralysis induced by a potent neurotoxin. But the question remains, why would the Shadows go to such lengths to immobilize Crystle?"
