THE TENSION in the Morrisson Café was palpable as Yoda Yoshida and Zeke Vengeance stood face to face, their eyes locked in a battle of determination and intellect. The room fell silent, the weight of the case hanging heavy in the air. As the onlookers watched with bated breath, They observed the detectives closely, knowing that this would be a battle of the minds that could shape the outcome of the investigation.

Yoda, renowned for his analytical prowess and relentless pursuit of the truth, approached the evidence with calculated precision. His eyes scanned the room, taking in every detail, his mind working overtime to unravel the mystery that shrouded Max's poisoning. His ability to uncover hidden truths even in the most intricate cases was unbelievable.

On the other side of the room stood Zeke, known for his razor-sharp intuition and unyielding determination. Zeke had an uncanny knack for sensing the subtlest of clues, often relying on gut instincts that led him to breakthroughs in his investigations. His reputation as a relentless pursuer of justice was well-deserved, and he never backed down from a challenge.

"Based on the symptoms and the timing, I believe this was a suicide," Yoda said, his voice calm and measured."

Zeke, with his piercing gaze and unwavering confidence, stepped forward, his voice filled with conviction. "Yoda, your theory of suicide is misguided. The evidence clearly points towards a deliberate act of murder. Max was poisoned intentionally, and one of our suspects is the culprit."

We watched as Yoda sifted through the evidence, his face a mask of concentration. He carefully examined the contents of Max's coffee cup, looking for any trace of poison.

"Zeke, you underestimate the power of the human mind and its complexities," Yoda remained calm, his expression serene yet resolute. "Max was a varsity basketball player. He had everything going for him. But he was also under a lot of pressure. I believe he was struggling with depression and took his own life by ingesting the poison."

Yoda's words hung in the air, challenging Zeke's assertive stance. The room fell silent.

Zeke scoffed. "The power of the human mind? This is not a philosophical debate, Yoda. This is a matter of evidence and logic. Let's go over the facts again, shall we? Max was poisoned, and all of our suspects had motive and opportunity. Liam went to the comfort room after Maya. According to Emily, Liam is a competitor of Max for the spot of Varsity Captain. Maya was acting strange all night and was the first to leave went to the comfort room before Max collapsed. What did she do? No one knows. Julianna was preoccupied with her birthday celebration and may have overlooked Max's distress. And Emily, Max's ex-girlfriend, had just had a fight with him before the poisoning occurred. It's clear that one of them is responsible for Max's death."
