"Ok Had, smiles, polite, but you have to give it everything" Mom says holding my hand as we walked inside the air refreshened building, with AUDC on the side of it.
"Mhm, I know. I'm really excited" I smile up at mom and she looks down at me.
"I'm excited for you"
As we walked through the producers told us to wait for Miss Abby to call me out. I'm not nervous though because I know Miss Abby and what she does.
"Now we have one more surprise for you ladies today. Abby?" Kevin Manno says from the other room as I got ready to walk out.
"Yes." Miss Abby nods. "As you all know the category this week is improvisation. And in my head I can name one pretty amazing improver." Miss Abby tells the girls in front of her. They look at each other confused.
"Please welcome, Hadley Bennet" Miss Abby extends an arm, announcing me as I walk out onto the floor. The girls freaked out when they saw me! They cheered and I felt like I was famous!
"You girls all know Hadley, yes?" Miss Abby puts a hand on my shoulder. They all nodded very quickly, smiling in awe.
"Not only will she be helping with your dances this week. But...well I won't tell you just yet" Miss Abby says.
"Hadley. What is the key to improving well?" Miss Abby puts me on the spot.
"Really just whatever comes into your head and running with it, and obviously you need attitude and face" I explain.
"Ok let's bring out.. the mediocre Hadley" Miss Abby says and my face kinda drops, I didn't like when she put people down. "And Miss Asia"
The girl Asia was about Kenzie's age and she was really good. Her faces were awesome and she was super strong.
"I think Asia wants it more and Hadley is just walking around sassy" I whisper to Miss Abby. She nods.
"And... sit down" She tells Hadley. "Lexine!" Miss Abby calls forward a scared looking girl about my age.
Asia started shaking her butt and making kissy lips and, I mean you could tell she was in it to win it.
"She came in at the wrong beat and fell out of the first turn" I whisper again, feeling bad.
"Bye bye" Miss Abby waves the other girl away. "Who should go next? A strong looking dancer" Miss Abby asks me.
I point to a girl named Amanda. She had good technique from what Miss Abby had told me. But of course, Asia won again.
"You, deserve a break." Miss Abby lets Asia sit down.
"Ok next two" Miss Abby calls up. I knew the girl named Jordan from auditions and stuff. She was a really good hip hopper. But she lost and Madison won.
"This is the final face off" Miss Abby tells Asia and Madison.
"Come on!" Miss Abby yells as I giggle at hoe crazy loud it was getting.
"Asia has to win" I whisper loud so Miss Abby can hear me.
"And we have a winner!" Miss Abby points to Asia. I run out and hug her. She was gonna be a great duo partner!
"I think you rocked it out in the end" Miss Abby informs.
"Thank you" She smiles.
"Now Asia, since you won the challenge you can choose your competition routine, which are a 20's flash solo, an 80's duet, a 60's go-go dancing solo, an 80's pop duet, and a 90's hip hop solo. Or you also have the chance of..." Kevin turns to Miss Abby.
