13 | If You'd Be So Kind

"Hikari!!" 

Momiji ran towards where Hikari and Tohru were standing with Kyo just outside their classroom. She grunted as he latched himself around her waist.

"I missed you!!" He snuggled into her while Kyo tried to yank him off.

"We saw each other not that long ago, Momiji." She smiled at him, despite his childish behavior.

"Hey, you guys." Hatsuharu greeted as he rounded the corner, Yuki not far behind him. 

"Are you being clingy again, Momiji?" Yuki scolded. 

"When is he not!?" Kyo had given up trying to pull him off Hikari by now.

Tohru merely giggled. "I think it's cute." She said.

"Hey!" Momiji tried to defend himself. "I was told not horseplay at school in case I crashed into a girl, so I'm playing it cool!" He shot his hand into the air as if not causing trouble was such an accomplishment to him. Hikari had a feeling it was, to her amusement. 

"How is that outfit playing it cool?!" Kyo yelled. Hikari glared at him, and he got the point to back off.

"Don't listen to that scary witch, Kyo Sohma! Your concern is valid!" Ugh, Hikari knew that annoying voice as it belonged to the student council president. Mayonaise was his name, maybe? Hikari didn't bother remembering people who held no importance in her life. Not to mention he wasn't the biggest fan of her because of how many times she came in between him while he was harassing younger students.

"A boy wearing a girl's uniform is truly shameless!" He yelled, pointing his crusty finger at Momiji. 

"Another idiot appears..." Hatsuharu mumbled, and Hikari found herself agreeing with him.

"Just what do you think you are doing, Hatsuharu Sohma!?" He got up into Haru's space. "You're hair is white!"

Yuki stepped in for Haru, but it wasn't long until he rounded back on Momiji again. 

"Have you no masculine pride!? You're life is already on the track for failure with this uniform-"

Hikari grabbed a hold of the collar on his uniform. 

"I'm about to rip this uniform off your body and make you run around naked while publicly apologizing for harassing a sweet, innocent boy, if you don't turn around and walk away." Hikari pushed him against the wall. 

"U-um! Yes, yes! Right away ma'am!" The president and his posey left the area, especially after Haru got involved briefly. 

"Don't worry about what those stuck ups say to you, Momiji." Hikari pat his head. "I think you look adorable." 

While Momiji melted into her praise, Kyo and Haru began talking behind her back.

"Talk about a complete one-eighty..." Kyo sweat dropped. 

"No kidding..." Haru agreed.

"Oh and by the way..." Momiji started. 

It was just him, Yuki, Kyo, and Haru now. 

"Akito is here."

Upon Kyo making Momiji realize that Tohru and Hikari could run into Akito if they weren't careful, he joined Yuki in his dead sprint across campus to find the pair. 

In the corner of his eye, Momiji saw Hikari's tall frame standing rigid looking  over the courtyard from a distant ledge. She looked unimpressed judging by her body language, but Momiji knew better to be ale to tell that something was wrong.
