"I can't believe you just did that." Ariana squealed, clapping her hands.

"I know. How do you talk to him so casually?" Lucy asked, seating herself once again comfortably on my bed.

I simply shrugged, throwing my phone gently onto the duvet.

"Luce, can you go get the spare mattress out of the storage and Ari, could you get the one out of Callum's room so we don't have to get up again?"

They both nodded. Ariana seemingly a little too excited to be collecting a dusty old mattress from the room opposite mine.

I simply brushed it off, jogging over to my wardrobe and tugging out blankets, duvets and pillows.

Lucy came back mere minutes later, helping me flatten out her mattress next to mine and putting the bedsheet on. I found a plump pillow in a corner in my closet and a duvet before throwing them to her. She smoothed it out and slumped down on it.

"What's taking Ariana so long?" Lucy asked, examining her nails.

"Like I know what she gets up to half the time?" I grinned jokingly, averting my eyes from Lucy.

"Seriously though, I'm quite intrigued by how long it takes to take a few steps over to your brothers room, grab a mattress, and--"

"She's in Callum's room." I stated, sitting up from my slumped position against the bed frame.

Lucy looked slightly confused at first, her eyebrows scrunching, but they soon smoothed out and raised upon her temple, her eyes widening at my statement.

"Shit." She mumbled, in long up to her feet and jogging across the landing to Callum's door.

I followed suite, vaguely aware of the fact that I may walk into one of my best friends getting with my older brother. The thought sent shivers down my spine, right to my toes.

"I swear if she's doing anything with him, I'm going to personally slit her throat. I'm not actually interested in witnessing Ariana making out with your brother, especially because he's considered an--"

"Shh. You talk too much." I chuckled quietly as she sent me a hard glare.

Gently pushing the door open, I saw Ariana sitting on the edge of his bed giggling at something he'd said.

Ugh.

"Ariana, you have ten seconds to escort yourself out of my brother's room." I finally demanded, stepping into his room, a slight smirk on my face as I took in her surprised demeanour.

Ariana quickly got up, adjusting to her quick movements by leaning a hand on the side of his bed to gain balance.

"For real. Or I'm going to storm in there myself." Lucy added, coming in to stand beside me.

Ariana sent us a meek hand gesture before waving goodbye to an amused Callum, resting on his bed.

She rushed out, most probably to the landing.

I also retreated back to the landing after sending my brother the finger, in which e responded with a loud laugh, baring his teeth and all.
