I accept covers and trailers so if you decide to make one, then send it to me, I'd happily accept it and put it up in my next chappie. Thanks!
"What the actual-"
"fuck?!" Lucy finished for me, her jaw wide open.
"Lucy!" Minnie squealed, opening her arms to embrace Lucy.
Lucy stiffened but did nothing to remove Minnie's arms from around her.
"What are you doing here?" Minnie asked, finally letting go of Lucy.
"I could ask you the same thing." Lucy mumbled, eyeing Minnie's outfit.
"Oh well, Kyle is letting me stay over for now since I kinda came here alone." Minnie explained, using hand gestures "Plus, it gives me a chance to rekindle Kyle and I's relationship again." She laughed, leaning against the door.
I stiffened, running my hands up and down my arms.
"Anyways, you guys are welcome to come in. It must be freezing." Minnie beamed, gesturing for Lucy and I to enter.
"Isn't Luke home?" I asked, nervously entering the household.
"Well, I don't think Luke and I are...on good terms at the moment. He's kinda been ignoring me since, I've arrived." Minnie said hesitantly, dropping onto one of the couches.
"I don't blame him." Lucy muttered, a neutral expression on her face.
I looked over at her in shock, as did Minnie.
I've never seen this side of Lucy before, she's always so happy and bubbly. Minnie's thoughts must have been the same, judging from her reaction.
"Minnie, watch when you taste my sandwhich. You'll see how much better mine is compared to-"
Kyle stopped as his eyes made contact with mine.
"yours." he finished queitly, the excitement draining from his features.
"Umm...hey. I didn't mean to intrude on...this. I just..." I stopped, feeling my eys watering.
Why am I crying?
Maybe it's because you know Kyle loves Minnie more than he'll ever love anyone else. Or maybe because you know, he'll choose Minnie over you. Maybe, it's because you've never been able to keep him as happy and excited as Minnie could. Maybe-
"Stop." I mumbled to myself, holding my head in my hands.
"She just thought she could talk to you, without having to have a girl barely dressed open the door for her. I mean, where's her trousers at? I'm sure you own multiple pairs of trousers, you could lend her. Especially, after what you told her-" Lucy snapped, before I decided to cover my hand over her mouth.
TMI, Luce. TMI.
I could feel Lucy's ragged breathing from her little outburst.
I thought she missed Minnie, days ago she was crying over the fact she'd never gotten to say bye to her. Now, here she is literally calling her best friend a slut.
Kyle looked down miserably, as if ashamed of himself.
Good. He should be.
