Lucy: Sieara and Ariana's best friend, pretty, shy and kind.
Non-edited!👐
As I entered the mall, I became vaguely aware of the increase in glances and stares I'd received.
Breathing heavily through my nose, I tried my very hardest to compose myself; reminiscing on what my drama teacher had taught me about confidence.
Head high. Shoulders squared. No fear.
I approached the centre of the mall before halting, realising I had no clue of Lucy and Ariana's whereabouts.
Slowly, sliding my phone from my back pocket, I scrolled through my recent contacts and selected Lucy's name.
Her face immediately lit up on the screen.
It was a picture I had taken when she was devouring a pizza. Cheese strung between her teeth like a knitted scarf and tomato sauce had splashed onto the tip of her nose, and her chin. Her brown eyes were wide with excitement as she eyed the pizza before her.
It was an extraordinary picture if I may say so myself.
"Sieara! I see you, you look amazing. Oh my gosh, I need to have a closer look. Come over, come over, come over." Lucy instantly exclaimed.
"Yes, I will. If you'd just like to tell me your whereabouts." I chuckled, scanning the crowd of people scattered across the mall.
"Topshop. By the hot blonde guy, eyeing you from afar." Lucy stated, a smile probably displayed on her face.
"There's a lot of hot blonde guys, Luce. But I'll meet you outside Topshop." I laughed, a lean blonde immediately passing, sending a playful wink in my direction, after clearly catching my comment.
"Alrighty. See ya!"
I speed-walked over to Topshop, immediately seeing two brunettes approaching me.
"You look amazing!"
"Yeah, you really do look stunning." Ariana smiled, gently touching a strand of my straightened blonde hair.
"Thanks, girls. But let's not dwell on that. We've got some shopping to do." I intervened, rolling my eyes at the mention of shopping.
I don't hate shopping if it's a little, quick in and out moment. I'd rather not spend more than a half hour inside a mall, it's not my kinda zone.
"I've been hearing so much about the Victoria's Secret sale, so I suggest we head there first." Ariana suggested excitedly, already beginning her walk to the tinted store, made to attract attention.
"Look at how cute this bra is." Lucy grinned, holding up a floral patterned bra against her chest.
"How much?" Ariana asked, looking up from the deep purple underwear, she was holding in her right hand.
Lucy paused to look at the tag, her cheeks instantly redding.
"Well, it's not on sale." Lucy frowned, quickly placing it back onto the shelf, earning a laugh from Ariana and I.
After looking around some more, we decided on going to shop for cheerleading uniforms in some of the few sports stores in the mall.
Lucy had already spotted a cute white cheerleading uniform, and a pair of white sneakers to match. She bought some white elastic bands, claiming she had lost all her other ones.
