"What are We?"/I only have Eyes for Him PART 2

Streber and I went back into the house to the basement after what happened.. And calming down.. For a moment, we both stayed quiet sitting next to each other until he spoke. "So uhm.. Have you really liked me all that time?" "Yeah." I responded nervously and look down. There was an awkward silence between us until he spoke.

"Kevin, I just wanted to apologize for looking through your-" "What are we?" I blurted. I watched his eyes light up, he fixed his posture and blushed. "What do you want to be?" He asked, my face warmed up to think about it.. I suddenly spark up and look at him with widened eyes. "Wait, how long have you liked me?!" He blushes and hesitates for a moment before answering. "I.. have for.. a few months now.." He fidgets with his fingers and speaks slowly, avoiding eye contact.

I sat there, thinking how to respond.. Until I gasped when an idea popped in my mind, that I was considering... But just thought it was stupid. Streber heard me gasp and quickly turned to me. "What is it?" He smiles softly. "Eh, it's stupid.." I smile back and snort, he raises an eyebrow and nudges my shoulder. "Come on~! Please..?" He looked up at me with puppy eyes while leaning on me. His exaggerated expressions started to turn slightly worried while looking into my eyes. "So.. Y'know I've liked you for a long time..." I said while looking to the side. "Yeah..?" He responds and nods his head.

"It's just an idea, so you can say no if you want-.." I reassured, he rolled his eyes. "Hurry up and tell me!" He said impatiently. "Okay, okay.. Do you maybe.. want to go to prom with me..?" My voice became softer and I spoke low. Voices started to scream in my head, what if he says no? He already likes me though? He kissed me? Does this mean he'll say yes? Questions flooded my head as I saw his eyes widen.
It was quiet for a second, I started to regret what I said..

"Holy shit, yes! A hundred times yes!" He said in excitement, before jumping on my lap and started to hug me while kissing my cheek. "Ah, woah!" I said shockingly. He looked in my eyes and spoke softly, "Y'know, I was thinking of asking you whenever everyone started talking about it. I even tried to set up some kind of conversation for us to have about it, but I got too nervous.." He acts shameful. "But you still didn't answer my question.." I said, slightly changing the subject. "Oh..Sorry." He responded. "It's fine, I just wanted to know.. If Y'know all that happened.. If you kissed me.. What does that mean?. Do you want to be with me-? I-I don't want to move to quick! So I can give you time if you need it.." I said, he thought for a moment. "I think I've had enough time to decide." He says and looks at me in a semi serious way. He grabs my hand and looks me in my eye. "Kevin, I want to be with you. I don't know what's been happening these past few months, but I've just been going crazy over you! That's all I'm gonna say now though.." He looks to the side and smiles before looking back at me. I look at him in shock silently. "You want to be with me-?" I ask again to make sure I'm not dreaming. "Yep, I just said that." He smiles and giggles from my reaction.

I grab his shoulders tightly. "Streber, tell me you're not joking right now." I said. "Oh god damnit," he rolls his eyes, and pulls me in for a deep kiss suddenly, then pulls away after a moment. "Is that enough proof?" He finishes. "Yeah.." I stare at him with widened eyes.

"So.. Uh, do you wanna stay here tonight..?" Streber asked me. "Sure." I respond and blush.
