Casey pov

I woke up with the sun shining on my face in the dance hall. I suddenly felt someone lying on top of me. When I looked down, I was surprised by Blake cuddling on me. Then I heard snickering, so I turned and saw my sisters up and laughing at my situation. I then feel Blake moving, indicating that she's waking up.

Blake opened her beautiful amber eyes. It took a minute for her to realize that she was on top of me and jump off. "Casey, I am so sorry. I didn't know I was on top of you," Blake said frantically. I chuckled a bit as I put a hand on her shoulder. "Blake, it's fine; we both were asleep, so it's fine," I reassured her. "But I still violated you," Blake tells me. "How, by sleeping on top of me," I asked her. "We are still clothed, so we didn't do anything, so we're good," I tell her. She still looked unsure but decided to move on with the day and get ready for the entrance exam.

I got up and headed to the cafeteria with Ruby, Yang, and Blake to get breakfast to prepare for the exam. "Hey, can I ask you three a question," Blake asked, "You just did," Yang commented. "Yang, be nice," I told Yang. "Go ahead, Blake," I tell Blake. "Well, You said that you three are siblings, but you don't look alike," Blake told us. "Well, for starters, Yang and Ruby are half-sisters, while as for me, I'm their adopted brother," I told her. Blake looked at us, surprised by this, "Wait, what," Blake asked. "Yep, my last name is Xiao Long," Yang tells her. "Mine is Rose," Ruby added. "While mine is Cross," I finished. "Me and Ruby have the same dad but different mom," Yang explained to Blake. "I was adopted when I was one year old," I told Blake. "But we're one big family no matter what," Ruby said excitedly. Blake seems to understand as we continue eating our breakfast. After breakfast me, Ruby, Yang, and Blake headed to the locker room to prepare for the entrance exam.

As me and my sisters bid our goodbyes to Blake, we head to our lockers and get our gear ready. Just then, a guy wearing a green outfit and a girl wearing a pink and white outfit were talking as they walked past us. "Wonder what those two are talking about," Yang commented on the two strangers walking past. "Who knows," Ruby replied. "You seem more chipper," Yang commented on Ruby's behavior. "Yep, no more awkward conversation; I'm going to let my sweetheart do the talking," Ruby replied, pulling out Crescent Rose. "Remember, Ruby, you're not the only one who is taking the test; you're going to have to grow up and talk to people," Yang told Ruby. "Uh, you just sound like dad; first of all, I don't need to talk to people to grow up; I drink milk," Ruby exclaimed. I chuckled at her behavior, "Not kind of growing up, baby sister," I told Ruby. "Exactly; besides, what will you do once we form teams," Yang asked Ruby. "I don't know, maybe I could be on a team with you and Casey," Ruby said uncertainly. Yang looked away while rubbing her shoulder nervously, "I was thinking that maybe we should be on different teams," Yang suggested. "Is my big sister doesn't want to be on the same team as me," Ruby asked Yang in an offensive tone. "That's not what she meant, sis," I defended Yang. "What she suggested is that it'll be a good way to break out of your shell and meet new people," I tell Ruby. "Uh, you two sound like Dad; besides, why does meeting new people have to do anything with fighting? It's absolutely ridiculous," Ruby complained as Jaune walked by, frustrated by not finding his locker.

After helping Jaune find his locker, I returned to prepare for the entrance exam. "So Casey, are you excited to show Blake your moves," Yang asked. I looked at her, annoyed, "The entrance exam is not created to show off moves, but to prove ourselves that we belong here," I explained to Yang. "Oh, come on, I can tell you like the feeling of her laying on top of you," Yang teased. I say nothing while trying to hide the massive blush on my face. Yang then got an enormous grin, "Ha knew it, you like her, don't you," Yang shouted. "Maybe I do; why is it your business anyway," I asked her.

Meanwhile Blake pov

I'm currently getting ready for the entrance exam. I still feel embarrassed for sleeping on top of Casey, even though he said he doesn't mind. I couldn't help but blush at the fact that he also likes to read. I wonder if he likes me in any way or if he even likes faunus.
