Casey pov
It's been two days since the argument between Blake and Weiss. Me, Blake, Sun, and Rick have been staying with my Uncle Tukson for a while, not that he minds. I help my uncle with whatever chore he may have. Even Sun also helps, but he does not have any choice. As for Blake, she has been relaxing in my room with a book, with Rick keeping her company. Sun uses any opportunity to hit on her, but Blake always manages to tell Monkey Boy to leave her alone.
We're at a cafe with Blake having Earl Gray tea, me having green tea, and Sun having a cappuccino with Rick lying between me and Blake. "So what is it you want to know about me," Blake asked Sun. "Finally, she speaks; nearly two days and you've given me small talk and weird looks except for wolf boy here," Sun commented. Blake gave him an annoyed look. "Yeah, like that," Sun commented. I just shook my head in annoyance. "Sun, are you familiar with the White Fang," Blake asks him. Sun looked at her confused. "Of course, I don't think there's a faunus on the planet that hasn't heard of them," Sun told her. "Stupid holier-then-though-creeps that use force to get what they want. Bunch of freaks if you ask me," Sun added.
"I was once a member of the White Fang," Blake told Sun. Sun becomes shocked by the news. "Wait a minute, "you" were a member of the White Fang," Sun asked for confirmation. Blake nodded, "That's right; I was a member for most of my life, actually," Blake told Sun. "You could almost say I was born into it; back then, things were different," Blake added. "In the ashes of the war, the White Fang was meant to be a symbol of peace and unity between humans and faunus," Blake explained. "Of course, despite being promised equality, the faunus were subjected to discrimination and hate," Blake added. "Humanity still thought of us as lesser beings, and so the White Fang rose up as a voice of our people," Blake added. "And I was there; I was at the front of every rally; I took part in every boycott," Blake added. "And I actually thought we were making a difference, but I was a youthful optimist," Blake said sadly. "Then, five years ago, our leader stepped down, and a new leader took his place, a new leader with a new way of thinking," Blake added.
"Suddenly, our peaceful protests were being replaced with organized attacks," Blake tells Sun. "We set fires to shops that refused to serve us, hijacking cargo from companies that used faunus labor," Blake explained. "And the worst part was, it was working," Blake added. "We were being treated as equals, but not out of respect, but out of fear," Blake explained. "So I left, I decided I no longer wanted to use my skills to aid in their violence, and instead, I would dedicate my life to becoming a huntress," Blake added. "So here I am, a criminal hiding in plain view, all with the help of a little bow," Blake finished.
Sun then looked at me curiously, "Were you part of the White Fang," he asked me. I shook my head. "I highly doubt they will want me," I told him. "Why not? Aren't you a faunus as well," Sun asked me. "Well, the thing is, I used to be a human," I told him. Sun was imminently shocked by this. "What, seriously," Sun asked me. "Yep, you are looking at possibly the only half-human half-faunus halfbreed," I told him. Sun was even more shocked by this. I guess this melts what little brain he has.
Ruby pov
It's been two days since Blake, Casey, and Rick left. I'm really worried about Blake and my big brother. I'm still upset with Weiss for what she said to Casey. But what scared me was when I slapped Weiss across the face after she said that. But I felt angry for her, basically calling my big brother a dog for keeping Blake's secret so he could get into her pants.
"Blake," I yelled. "Casey," Yang yelled. "Weiss, you're not helping," I told my partner. "Oh, you know who will help, the police," Weiss commented. I angrily grumbled in frustration. "What, it was just a suggestion," Weiss told us. "Yeah, a bad one," I told her angrily. "Weiss, I really think you should keep your mouth shut because you are already in deep water with Ruby," Yang told her. "What did I even do," Weiss asked, which frustrated me even more. "You basically insulted our brother by saying the only reason he kept Blake's secret was so he could get into her pants, which caused Ruby to slap you across the face," Yang reminded her. "Besides, I really think we should hear Blake's side of the story," Yang suggested. "And when we hear it, you'll all realize that I was right," Weiss commented.
