Until Tomorrow- Part 3

In the meantime, Dr. Eggman had successfully sped out of Christmas Island and had trapped Silver in one of the jail cells in his huge Egg Carrier. The room was all concrete and had black jail cells lining the left and right sides of the room. Silver was placed in the very last cage in the row to the left. "Don't even dare to come out", Dr. Eggman menacingly said to Silver. "It will only hurt worse if you do." Dr. Eggman laughed his evil laugh as he walked back into the control room. Silver sat against the very corner of his cage and hugged his knees. He made his face in his knees and started crying. "I'm all alone", he whimpered. "All alone with no one to hug me." He continued to cry some more. "This place is so dark, and I'm so scared of the dark! I just want to go home! I miss you, Mommy and Daddy! I miss you, Shadow and Sonic! I just want to be with you guys!" Silver continued crying more and more. "Please try not to be so sad, it's making me feel sad", a little female voice said from the distance. "Did Dr. Eggman abduct you, too? " "What?" Little Silver asked as he wiped tears from his eyes. "Who said that?" He looked ahead of him to see a 3-year-old lavender cat with golden eyes. She was trapped in the cage across from Silver's. She had three lavender and dark purple feathers on her head that were tied in a red ponytail. She was wearing a white bodysuit with a dark purple jacket with golden lining, and white gloves with white fur on the cuffs. Her shoes were little magenta flats with a white strap like Sonic's going down the middle of them, with white fur at the cuffs. Her eyes looked sad and dull from many hours of crying. She walked to the bars of the cage and started holding them. "My name is Blaze", she said very shyly. "Dr. Eggman trapped me here because I accidentally used my Sol Emeralds. The Sol Emeralds supposedly have unlimited power, so he took them from me when I was in my super form called 'Burning Blaze'." Tears started forming in the little girl's eyes as she tried to hide her emotions. "Now he's going to try to rule the whole universe with them, and it's all my fault! I'm SO stupid, I will never, EVER use them again!" "Please don't say that!" Little Silver said. "Everybody makes mistakes, even my brothers and I have!" Blaze started wiping tears from her eyes. "You have?" She asked surprised. Silver nodded. "Yes", he said. "Back when I was a baby, my brothers used the Chaos Emeralds to play in our super forms, and Dr. Eggman saw us and captured our parents. It took us a long time to find them, but when we did, it was the best feeling ever! We all of course are scared of Dr. Eggman now, but it's no one's fault but his." He smiled at Blaze and Blaze shyly smiled back. "Are you sure it's not my fault?" She asked. "Yes", Silver replied. It was all Dr. Eggman. If he didn't want to rule the world, no pain would ever have to happen." Silver and Blaze looked at each other with sadness in their eyes, and said "I'm sorry" at the same time. Blaze covered her mouth as Silver started giggling. "That's never happened to me before", he said. "No one has ever said something at the same time I have." Blaze smiled a little. "Really?" She asked. Silver nodded. "Never in my entire life", he said. Blaze laughed a little. "Well, I'm glad to be the first." She then tried to lay down on the hard concrete floor of the Egg Carrier, and Silver was doing the same. "I know it will all be okay, Blaze", he told the cat, his eyes halfway opened. "You do?" Blaze questioned. "But how? This place is so scary and Dr. Eggman has every intention of killing us!" Silver smiled at Blaze. "Because", he started, "I know some heroes who would go to the end of the earth to save me, and I know I'd do the same for them." "Really?" Blaze asked. "What heroes?" "My brothers", Silver replied. "Those are my heroes. And I admire them more than anyone in the world." Silver then yawned and started closing his eyes, trying to fall asleep. "Goodnight, Blaze", he said, trying to get comfortable. "Hopefully things will turn around soon." Blaze tried to do the same. "Thank you, Silver", she replied. "Goodnight".
