Until Tomorrow- Part 6

Silver and Blaze were still trapped in their separate cages, very nervous about what was going to happen to them. 'Shadow, Sonic, where are you?' Silver thought to himself. Then, he shook his head and began focusing again. 'I must not lose hope, I know they will save me, like I would save them!' Silver then looked over at Dr. Eggman. 'I need to find a way to distract him so that he doesn't get impatient and go after my brothers.' "Dr. Eggman?" Silver asked in his sweet little voice. "Why do you have to be so evil? What do you gain by hurting my brothers and I so much? We didn't do anything to you!" Dr. Eggman looked at Silver. "I could care less whether I hurt anyone or not. You and your brothers own the precious gems that will help me to rule the world: the Chaos Emeralds!" He shouted. "I will stop at nothing to get them! Whoever gets in my way is just going to have to get destroyed!" "But that's not fair!" Blaze cut in. "You could try to politely ask for them or something! Anything is better than hurting innocent people!" Dr. Eggman laughed his evil laugh again. "You seriously think talking is the solution to your problems?" He asked. "People don't respond to talking! People respond to brute force! And brute force is exactly what I'm going to use to get those Chaos Emeralds!" Dr. Eggman began to zero in over the hedgehogs' house on Christmas Island. "Yes", he said to himself. "Here they are now..." Orbot and Cubot looked at each other and nodded, and started preparing more shocking nets. Suddenly, a loud crash sounded through the air, startling everyone. Remnants of a heart-shaped bomb and a broken window laid all over the floor of the Egg Carrier. "Rouge!" Silver shouted with glee as the ivory bat landed in the Egg Carrier. She was fuming at Dr. Eggman. "How dare you stoop so low as to hurt innocent children!?" She asked very angrily. Dr. Eggman held his hands out in defense and waved them. "Now, now, Rouge, there is no reason to be so angry", he told the bat. "I wasn't going to hurt them, honest! I was just keeping them out of the way-" Rouge aimed a bomb near Dr. Eggman, threatening him. "There's no need for big blasts!" Dr. Eggman shouted in fear. "How about we discuss this over a nice cup of hot cocoa!? We all know that violence is never the answer!" While Dr. Eggman was off guard, Rouge was quickly able to steal all of the seven Chaos Emerlads. "HEY!" Dr. Eggman shouted. "GET BACK HERE, YOU THEIF!" Rouge held her wrist up towards her mouth to talk through her communication device. "Shadow, come in", she said. "I've retrieved the Chaos Emeralds and these newly discovered Sol Emeralds! Make your move and save your brother! He also has another little animal with him! Please save her, too!" In a flash, Shadow teleported to the head of the Egg Carrier and used his Chaos Spears to destroy the function area. "NO, YOU IMBECILE!" Dr. Eggman yelled in anger. "YOU'VE DESTROYED MY EGG CARRIER! NOW WE'RE ALL GOING TO GO FALLING OUT OF THE SKY!" Rouge then gave Shadow his green Chaos Emerald, and the two of them smiled at each other. Shadow then looked at Dr. Eggman and held his green Chaos Emerald right up to the Doctor's face. "Correction", he said. "YOU'RE going to go falling out of the sky." He started smiling at Dr. Eggman. "Next time, you should try going after someone who hasn't defeated you in the past." Shadow thought to himself for a little. "I take that back", he said. "Because even if you do go after other innocent people, we'll still be able to stop you either way." Dr. Eggman was looking at Shadow and started sweating. Suddenly, the Egg Carrier started losing altitude, and was ready to crash into the ocean. "Good riddance", Shadow told Dr. Eggman. He then grabbed Rouge who was holding Silver and Blaze, and teleported back into the hedgehogs' backyard. Dr. Eggman started screaming as he and his Robots landed into the vast blue ocean.
