Until Tomorrow- Part 5

It was now the next morning, and Dr. Eggman was hovering over Christmas Island in his Egg Carrier with all of the seven Chaos Emeralds. He laughed his evil laugh. "Now that I have all of the Chaos Emeralds, I can finally rule the world!" He exclaimed. Orbot and Cubot looked at one another. "How are you going to do that, sir?" Orbot questioned. Dr. Eggman looked angrily at Orbot. "I have my own perfect plan", he replied in a sinister manner. "As if I'd ever share it with you." Little Silver stomped his foot. "You aren't going to get away with this, Dr. Eggman!" He yelled from his cage. "My brothers and I beat you once, and we are not afraid to do it again!" Dr. Eggman turned and snarled at Silver. "You are in no position to talk, you pint-sized pipsqueak!" He replied to the 3-year-old hedgehog. "You talk such a big game for such a little one! If you're so confident, why don't you try to prove yourself! I can guarantee that you can't!" Silver looked nervously at Dr. Eggman and tried to think of something that he could do, but his confidence faded as he started looking at the ground. Dr. Eggman laughed his evil laugh again. "Ha! That's exactly what I thought!" He mocked. "Babies like you are just nuisances to the world! Why don't you and the cat make yourselves useful and allow me to take you to your doom?" "NO!" Shouted Blaze. "What was that?" Dr. Eggman questioned. Blaze stood up in her cage and stomped her foot. "I WILL NOT ALLOW YOU TO HURT ME OR SILVER! I WILL NOT TOLERATE ANYMORE OF YOUR EVIL!" She tried to turn into Burning Blaze, but without her Sol Emeralds, it was impossible. Dr. Eggman laughed his evil laugh yet again. "Just keep proving my point, now won't you two?" He mocked. Silver crossed his arms. "If we are unable to stop you, I know my friends and brothers will!" He exclaimed. Dr. Eggman growled. "Ever since you and your brothers destroyed my Egg Carrier last time, I had to get some upgrades to make it impenetrable! Only unimaginable force would be able to take this baby down!" He shouted. Silver looked nervously at Dr. Eggman, then became a little more confident. "We'll see about that", he said.
Back at the hedgehogs' house, Shadow, Rouge, Sonic, and Knuckles were very eager to carry out their plan. "This is all you, Rouge", Knuckles told the bat. "Are you sure you're ready for this?" Rouge looked at Knuckles a little nervously as she had never attempted breaking into places as dangerous as Dr. Eggman's. "I must admit that I am a little nervous", she replied, "but I am willing to take a chance at saving Silver. If I need any help, I can radio Shadow to come teleport and save me, but I hope it doesn't come to that. I really want to try and prove something to myself." She looked at Shadow, and Shadow nodded back at her. "I have all of the confidence in you, Rouge", he told the ivory bat. "I will be there if you need me, though, just as you have always been there for me." Rouge smiled at Shadow, and Shadow smiled back. The two friends hugged each other as Rouge prepared to fly high into the sky, ready to save Silver and face her fear of Dr. Eggman.
