Dhani feels shy. Her heart flutters on Bali's words. She smiles at him.

He starts kissing her with passion. His passion soon turns into aggression.

The sun has risen and the room is bright now. Dhani wakes up and looks at Bali, who is still sleeping, holding her tightly. She comes out of his hold and looks at her body with a sad expression on her face. Her body is covered with bite marks, scratches and cuts. She looks for her clothes to cover her body. They are torn and not in a condition to be worn. She covers herself with the sheets and sits there. Her body is still aching.

The sunlight falls on Bali's face and he wakes up. He looks at his wife looking outside the window. The sun is radiating on her face.

Bali : So beautiful.

Dhani looks at him.

Dhani : Good morning.

Bali sits up and takes her into his arms and hugs her tightly.

Dhani : Can you call the maids for me? I need some clothes. My clothes are all torn.

Bali looks at what he did last night.

Bali : I ruined your pretty clothes.

Dhani : It's okay. I have plenty of them.

Dhani takes a long bath and wears her stola covering her arms and shoulders completely. She is walking with unease because of the pain. She asks one of the maids to secretly call the physician for her.

Aatreya and the rest of them go to the Court. Bali keeps looking and touching at his left arm from above the layer of the clothe. Aanan notices Bali grinning continuously.

Aanan : (murmurs) Hey! What is he doing?

Manan : (murmurs) I am also wondering.

It took a good look and Manan understood what he was doing.

Manan : Brother Bali consummated with wife. It's his spousal mark that he is touching.

Aanan : What? But last night she said she was tired. Did brother Bali forced her to..

Manan : No. He would never do that. It was her decision. She did it secretly because she didn't want us to feel left out.

Aanan : We are at fault in this that she needs to hide things from us.

Manan nods.

Aanan : But, brother Bali is a complete lovesick fool (grins). His behaviour around Wife is so funny sometimes.

Manan : I can't agree more (grins).

Aanan : I have, kind of, became fond of teasing him. Wait a second, I will annoy him again.

The physician comes to see Dhani. She gives her some medicine to apply on her bruises and also gives her medicine to drink.

Bela and Ketaki see the physician leaving the house.

Bela : Why was the physician here?

Maid : Ah that..that..Queen told us not to tell anyone.

They go to Dhani's chamber. She is applying the medicine on her wounds.

Dhani : Ah mother!

She covers herself with her stola.

Bela : Dear, what happened to you?

Dhani : It's nothing serious mother...

Bela : Then, let me see.

Aanan : I am feeling so tired today. Maybe because I haven't seen my wife's face since morning. Where is my beloved wife?

Bela : She is resting in her room.

Manan : Let me call her here.

Bela : No. Let her rest for sometime.

Aanan : Then, I will go to her room.

Ketaki : Didn't you hear what she said? Let her rest for sometime.

Aanan : Why are you angry, mother?

Bela : No one will disturb her tonight.

Manan : Why? What happened?

Aanan : She is okay, right?

Aatreya : Mother, tell me, what is wrong?

Bela : She needs some rest for today.

Bali : Why? Is she unwell?

Bela glares at him.

Bali : What happened?

They don't answer him.

Manan : Mother, is she unwell?

Bela : Yes.

Manan : Then, let me check her.

Bela : It's not that serious. Just let her rest.

Aatreya : What happened to her?

Ketaki : You can ask her tomorrow. Let her rest today.

The day has ended. Everyone has gone to bed, but Bali is not able to sleep. He is remembering his time with his wife on this bed. He wanted to see her today and embrace her tightly again in his arms. He goes to the garden from where Dhani's room is visible and sits there.

Two maids come there conversing with each other.

"I am glad that the temple physician came to see our queen today. She wasn't even able to walk properly when I saw her."

"You didn't see how bad it looked. Her whole body was covered with bruises."

"Oh my. Did Prince Bali do all that to her? She was with him last night."

"Hmm. It was Prince Bali. He is so cruel."

"To such a delicate body. Huh. And how happy he looked today, after doing all that to her."

"Our Queen is so compassionate. She even asked the Royal Mothers to not tell him anything about it."

Bali heard their conversation. The maids pass by the bushes. They look at him sitting on the bench.

"Prince Bali!!! Did he heard us..."

Bali rises up from the bench and comes towards them.

"Prince Bali, we...we were saying just...that ..that Queen.."

He passes them and leaves the garden.

He knocks on Dhani's door.

Dhani : Who is it at this time? Champa is that you? The door is open. You can come in.

He comes in.
