Grian had a problem he never thought he'd have. He didn’t have a suit.
Xisuma had requested formal wear to the party. Now, Grian wasn't going to get fully decked out for an event he didn't want to go to. But digging through his clothes, he couldn't find anything even close. Grian supposed his red jumper could be smart enough.
Then again this was a government event.
And it was *Grian's* jumper.
Grian groaned as he fell on his back. Why was this so difficult? He didn't even want to go. The only way he could survive is through HotGuy’s charisma. Grian prayed that HotGuy was bringing his a-game.
Now the suit situation. Maybe a charity shop would sell something? Oh, but it was a Sunday! They wouldn't be open. Reluctantly, Grian pulled out his phone and opened the craft club Facebook group chat.
'Hey guys, anyone got a spare suit? I'm in a situation.'
Grian sighed, putting his phone down. He hated relying on other people this way, especially when it had to do with his alter ego. He doubted anyone would be around to help.
*Bing!*
Grian glanced at his phone.
*Bing!*
>3 new messages<
Grian stared in disbelief at his phone. No way people were replying that quickly? Curiously, he opened up the Facebook chat.
>Ren: I've got a blazer, might be a bit big on you but if you're desperate we can make it work?<
>Lizzie: Joel's might fit you? We've got a few ties too.<
>Scott: Give me 10 minutes.<
Grian’s heart skipped a beat. Everyone was jumping on to help him so quickly, he didn't expect it. Especially when he'd known them less than 2 weeks. He re-read those messages a thousand times, a few more had even popped up.
>Etho: Not a suit but I've got some of those triangle things you put in your pocket. Depends on the situation, how fancy are you going?<
>Scott: Dw Etho, I'm going around I'll sort it.<
>Scar: I hate to be a pain but I'm in a similar situation, Ren can I borrow your blazer?<
>Ren: Yeah yeah, of course. Do you need trousers, shirt, tie anything like that?<
>Scar: I've got a shirt but if you have trousers and tie that would be great thanks.<
>Joel: Everyone sorted then?<
>Scar: Think so.<
>Grian: Yeah<
>Grian: Thanks guys.<
Grian smiled at the message exchange. He wasn't sure he'd ever find friends like this who'd be willing to help him at such short notice. Knowing he wasn't the only one getting help was comforting too.
Wait. Grian re-read the messages.
'>Scott: Give me 10 minutes.<'
Grian yelped in surprise. Scott was coming around? Scott's coming *here*?!
A knock at the door made Grian’s wings flare up in surprise. Shoot, his wings! Grian hastily shoved his corset on, wincing in pain as he drew the strings far too tight. He scrambled to open the door.
