Personality: David became ruthless, cruel, and brutal in order to protect his friends, yet he managed to maintain complete composure. David was still capable of showing his gentle nature in front of people he cared about but instantly turned merciless against his enemies. He yearned for strength and power, therefore becoming more power-hungry and superficially arrogant. His new creed—that as "the strong" he had the right to "devour the weak". He showed appropriate respect and great concern for his colleagues, especially his underlings. He complied with orders assigned by his seniors and carried them out without hesitation

Royal Cryptozoological Physiology: As a Royal Cryptozoological, David is stronger, durable, agile, much more intelligent than a normal human and have super hearing and smell as well as animal behavior.
Enhanced Strength: David was shown strong enough to strike Varvatos Vex (a large-structured Akiridion) a couple of feet away from him with only a blow. In his human form, he is considerably weaker as he was able to lift a heavy box and a DJ stand by himself.
Enhanced Endurance: David can endure more than an average teenager.
Enhanced Durability: David is durable enough to easily withstand punches from Steve without being knocked out cold and not feeling it. He has also withstood hits from stronger alien foes.
